Crime Report on June 30, 2018

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 62/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 29.06.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Om Prakash, SHO PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 29.06.2018 at about 07:05 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Bashara, one person namely Uday Singh R/o Village Bashara PO Kartot Tehsil Rampur District Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 07 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.-1. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Rampur. 
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 56/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 29.06.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Laxman Kumar, SHO PS New Shimla alleging therein that on 29.06.2018 at about 09-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Kanlog Bypass, one person namely Ish Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Birbal R/o Devgarh House near Ground Kanlog, Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.1. The case is being investigated by SI Laxman Kumar, SHO PS New Shimla.
3. ATTEMPT TO THEFT: Case FIR No. 53/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 30.06.2018 U/S 379 511 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Desh Raj S/o Sh. Moti Ram Sharma R/o Village Sawra PO Hatkoti Tehsil Jubbal District Shimla  alleging therein that on the intervening night 29/30.06.2018 at about 11-35 PM, he saw that 3/4 boys came around his Motorcycle No. HP10A-0810 and tried to stolen the petrol. When he was making noise, they run away from the spot and one person namely Vicky S/o Sh. Basant Singh Holta R/o Village Bamnoli Tehsil Rohru, Shimla caught red handed with the help of other villagers. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal.   
4. During last 24 hours 297 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 188 fine realized Rs. 76,000/- and 17 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,700/-.

 FOLLOW-UP:

1.    Accused Krishan S/o Sh. Jethu Ram R/o Village Badayi Ragra PO Balmadi District Kullu, HP, arrested in case FIR No. 49/18 Dt. 29.04.2018 U/S 379 411 34 IPC at PS Kumarsain, is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.  

2.    Accused Praveen Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Shyam Singh R/o  Village Batoh PO Bijmal, Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla, age 25 yrs. arrested in Case FIR No. 68/18 Dt. 20.06.2018 U/S 379 IPC at PS Chopal, remanded in Police Custody upto 02-07-2018.  

3.     Accused Rajan Sharma S/o Sh. Umesh Sharma R/o  village Bhalaibara Teshil & PS Sarai, Distt. Majjafarpur, Bihar, age 29 yrs. arrested in Case FIR No. 76/18 Dt. 28.06.2018U/S 354 IPC & 12 POCSO Act at PS Chopal, remanded in Police Custody upto 02-07-2018.  

4.    Accused Vicky S/o Sh. Basant  Singh Holta R/o Village Bamnoli Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 19 years Case Fir No. 53/18 Dt. 29.06.2018 U/S 379 511 34 IPC at PS Jubbal  is being produced before Ld. Court.
