Crime Report on June 04, 2018

1.    AN ND&PS ACT case FIR No. 143/18 Dt. 04.06.18 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered at PS West on the rukka of HC Ravikant, I/O PS West alleging therein that on the intervening night of 03/04.06.2018 at about 12-40 AM, during patrolling alonwith staff at MLA Crossing, Shimla, two persons namely Sanjeev Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Kali Ram R/o Village Bajrosi PO Balgahar Tehsil Theog District Shimla, age 32 years and Dimple Kumar Anand S/o Sh. Dev Raj R/o Village & PO Ghumarwin District Bilaspur, intercepted by them and during the search, 198 Tablets of NITRAVET-10 (Restricted Medicines) recovered from their possession. The case is being investigated by HC Ravikant I/O PS West.

2.    AN ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT FROM DISCHARGE OF HIS DUTY: case FIR No. 102/18 dated 03.06.2018 u/s 353,332 IPC has been registered at PS Sadar stated therein that on 03.06.2018 he was on duty at Victory tunnel Shimla. At about 07-10 PM one vehicle No. CH01AM-5321 came towards Taradevi and parked outside the Hotel Victory on the road and was taking tea from road vendor tea boy. When he asked the driver of vehicle to remove the vehicle one person namely Rohitash came out from the vehicle and started abusing, slapped and obstructed him to discharge his govt. duty. The case is being investigated by ASI Rupinder I,O PS Sadar.

3.    AN EXCISE Act case FIR No. 30/18 dated 03.06.2018 u/s 39 HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Nankhari on the rukka of SI/SHO Chint Ram PS Nankhari alleging therein on 03.06.2018 on the secret information he raided the karyana shop of Yog Raj S/o Sh. Mohan R/o Vill. Baunthal PO Dev Nagar Tehsil Nankhari Distt. Shimla and recovered 48 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Chint Ram PS Nankhari. 

4.    AN EXCISE Act case FIR No. 31/18 dated 03.06.2018 u/s 39 HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Jhakri on the rukka of ASI Chaman Lal I/O PS Nankhari alleging therein that on 03.06.2018 on the secret information he raided in the Karyana Shop of Ishwar Singh S/o Sh. Hardyal Singh R/o Vill. Baunthal PO Dev Nagar Tehsil Nankhari and recovered 10 bottles of  country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Chamam Lal I/O PS Nankhari. 

5.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 50/18 dated 03.06.2018 u/s 39 HP Excise Act hs been registered at PS Jhakri on the rukka of ASI Bir Singh I.O PS Jhakri alleging therein that on 03.06.2018 during patrolling alongwith staff he intercepted one person namely Yash Pal Sharma S/o Sh. Sri Ram Sharma R/o VPO Jhakri Teshil Rampur Distt. Shimla and recovered 07 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Bir Singh.

6.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 65/18 dated 4.06.2018 u/s 39(1) HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Kumarsain on the rukka of ASI Noop Ram I.O PS Kumarsain alleging therein that today during patrolling and traffic checking at Kumarsain Bazzar he checked one vehicle No. HP06A-8380 and recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Sh. Dinesh S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Damehadi PO & Tehsil Kumarsain. The case is being investigated by ASI Noop Ram I.O PS Kumarsain.

7.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 47/18 dated 03.06.2018 u/s 279,337 IPC has been registered at PS Jubbal on the statement of Lal Singh S/o Lobhi Vill Deoki PO Gohar Distt. Mandi A/P Chowkidar R. Advenchor sports Centre Hatkoti stated therein one vehicle No. HP30-3125 (Bolero pickup) met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving of driver and hit with the wall of office. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand I/C PP Sarswati Nagar.

8.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 72/18 dated 04.06.2018 u/s 279 IPC has been registered at PS Rohru on the rukka of HC Vijay Kumar alleging therein that a Maruti car No. HR70B-0563 met with and accident near Makkhinala Rohru and rolled down 50 mtr from the road due to rash and negligent driving of Shubam S/o Harbans R/o Sainji PO Samoli Teh Rohru Dist. Shimla and sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Vijay no 5 I/O PS Rohru.

9.    AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 64/18 Dt. 03.06.18 U/S 279 337 IPC has been registered at PS Kumarsain on the statement of Sh. Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Roop Ram R/o Majholi PO Dhamandri Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla stated therein that he is driver in HRTC. On 03.06.2018 he was on the route from Shimla to Kalpa and when he reached near Kandyali one vehicle No. HP 06C-0456 (Wagnor) came rashly and negligently, hit the bus and rolled down from the road. The case is being investigated by HC Raj Kumar I.O PS Kumarsain.

10.  During last 24 hours 369 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 93 fine realized Rs. 44,500/- and 22 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,800/-

FOLLOW UP

1.   Accused Sandeep Nirala S/o Sh. Krishan Lal r/o Kashaini PO Tikker Teh. Rohru Distt. Shimla HP age 33 Years has been arrested in case Fir No. 71/18 Dt. 26/05/18 U/S 354, 354(D) & 506 IPC at PS Rohru released on bail by the Ld. Court.

2.  Accused Sanjeev Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Kali Ram R/o Village Bajrosi PO Balgahar Tehsil Theog District Shimla, age 32 years and Dimple Kumar Anand S/o Sh. Dev Raj R/o Village & PO Ghumarwin District Bilaspur arrested in case FIR No. 143/18 Dt. 04.06.18 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West remanded in Police Custody upto 06.06.2018 by the Ld. Court.
