Crime Report on June 14, 2018

1.    AN ND&PS ACT case FIR No. 81/18 Dt. 13.06.2018 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Rohru on the rukka of ASI Vishesh Kumar, I/C PP City Rohru alleging therein that on 13.06.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling at Meat Market Rohru. On the secret information, one person namely Ankit Thakur S/o Sh. Mehar Singh Thakur R/o Village Koti PO Jagothi Tehsil Rohru, Shimla intercepted by them and during the search, 370mg Chitta recovered from his possession. Accused has been released by issuing the notice U/S 41(C) Cr.PC and the case is being investigated by ASI Vishesh Kumar, I/C PP City Rohru.

2.    AN ND&PS ACT case FIR No. 82/18 Dt. 13.06.2018 U/S  20,22-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Rohru on the rukka of SI Ranjeet Singh I/O PS Rohru Shimla alleging therein that on 13.06.2018 at about 10-30 PM, during patrolling along with staff, one person namely Vimit Tegta R/o Village Mahendli PO Karasa Tehsil Rohru, Shimla intercepted by them near Mahendli Road Bypass New Subji Mandi to Samoli, and during the search, 3.50 Gram Chitta & 19.53 Gram Charas recovered from his possession. Accused has been released by issuing the notice U/S 41(C) Cr.PC and the case is being investigated by SI Ranjeet Singh I/O PS Rohru Shimla.  

3.    AN ND&PS ACT case FIR No. 51/18 Dt. 14.06.2018 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Jubbal  on the ASI Kishan Chand, I/O PS Jubbal, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 13/14.06.2018 at about 12-30 AM, during Nakabandi alongwith staff  at Kuddu, one Pick-Up No. HP10B-1136, came from Parala, stopped by them for checking. During the search, 03 Bottles of Ceerex Cough Syrup 100ml each (Restricted Medicine) recovered from the possession of driver namely Sanjay Kumar S/o Lt Sh. Gulat Ram R/o Village Naksetly PO Dharara Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 38 years.  The case is being investigated by ASI Kishan Chand, I/O PS Jubbal, Shimla.

4.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 118/18 Dt. 13.06.18 U/S 39 HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Theog on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Chand I.O PS Theog  alleging therein that on 13.06.2018 he along with staff was on patrolling towards Bhotka Mod near Sainj, Chailla. During patrolling he checked one vehicle driven by Kapil S/o Sh. Paras Ram R/o VPO Balag Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla and recovered 12 Boxes of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Chand I.O PS Theog.

5.    AN EXCISE ACT case FIR No. 72/18 Dt. 13.06.18 U/S 39 HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Rampur on the rukka of SI Ravinder Lal I.O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 13.06.2018 he along with staff was on patrolling at Nogli. During patrolling on the secret information he raided the chicken shopo of Sagar Dass S/o Sh. Nari Ram Vill. Batuna, PO Nogli, Tehsil Rampur and recovered 11 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Ravinder Lal I.O PS Rampur.

6.    During last 24 hours 452 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 159 fine realized Rs. 76,500/- and 33 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,200/-    

Follow up

1.    Accused Prem Singh S/o Mansa Ram &  Naresh Kumar S/o Dhani Ram both R/o Vill. Seri ka Hada PO Panesh Tehsil and Distt. Shimla age 52 years arrested in case FIR No. 154/18 dated 12.06.2018 u/s 302,34 IPC at PS West remanded in Police Custody upto 15.06.2018.

2.    Accused Devender R ana S/o Sh. Hukkam Chand R/o Village Bhutti Tehsil Kumarsain District Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 66/18 dated 12.06.2018 u/s  U/S 452 307 436 326 IPC at PS Kumarsain remanded in Police Custody upto 15.06.2018.

3.    Accused Sanjay Kumar S/o Lt Sh. Gulat Ram R/o Village Naksetly PO Dharara Tehsil Rohru, Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 51/18 Dt. 14.06.2018 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Jubbal remanded in Police Custody upto 15.06.2018.
