A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 73/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 30.06.14 U/S 341 323 34 IPC on the statement of Mayur Verma S/o Sh. Suresh Verma R/o Ward No. 5, Municipal Committee, Rampur alleging therein that on 30.06.2014 at about 04:50 PM, he was filling petrol in his car No. CH-04-8631 at Petrol pump Khaneri , where another car No HP-06A-4746 (Alto) was also filling the petrol in his car. At the same time Driver of above Alto car alongwith another person obstruct his way and beaten him. The case is being investigated by ASI Karam Chand I/O PS Rampur.

A Theft case FIR No.109/14 is registered at PS West on 30.06.2014 U/S 379 IPC that he is Junior Engineer in HP Electricity Board, Sub-Station Dhami. During the intervening night of 29/30.06.2014, some unknown person has stolen away one Drum of Aluminum (4129 meter) from the Sub-Division at Dhami. Case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami.
During last 24 hours 213 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 01 person challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 27,000/-.
