An Excise case FIR No. 128/14 is registered at PS West on 23.07.14 U/S 39 H.P Excise Act 2011 on the Rukka of ASI Amar Nath, Incharge Police Post Dhami, Shimla alleging therein that he alongwith police party was on patrolling near forest road at Khel Chaura. At around 05.30AM, one person namely Isdor Minj S/o Sh. Prakash Minj R/o Village- Sarai Toli, PO- Sari Toli, Tehsil- Manora, PS- Sanna, Distt. Jaspur, Chhattisgarh intercepted by them. During search he recovered 12 bottles of country liquor Marka Saroor 750ml each from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami.
A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 54/14 is registered at PS Rohru today i.e. on 25.07.2014 U/S 341,323 IPC on the rukka of SI Laiq Ram, Addl. SHO PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that today he along with staff were on law & order duty at Govt. College Seema at Rohru, at the mean time students of ABVP blocked the Chirgaon road in support of their demands to ply the special college bus and shouted slogans against the RM, HRTC Rohru. The case is being investigating by Addl. SHO PS Rohru
During last 24 hours 195 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 04 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 37,395/-
