Crime Report 21 July, 2014

1. A Theft case FIR No 52/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain on 20.07.2014 U/S  379 IPC on the application of Sh.  Kapil Dev S/O Sh. Shiv Dayal Chauhan R/O Village- Kotidhar, PO- Bhutti, Tehsil- Kumarsain, District- Shimla alleging therein that during the intervening night 19/20.6.2014, some unknown person has stolen away his Maruti Car No HP06A- 4640 parked near his house on the link road from Koti Dhar to Palsar. The case is being investigated by HC Govind Mehta,  I/O PP Sainj PS Kumarsain.

2. A Theft case FIR No. 89/14 is registered at PS East on 20.07.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Yashpal Sharma S/o Sh. Ramesh Chand Sharma R/o Raj Hans Cottage near Dev Nagar Kasumpti Shimla alleging therein that he is working as Salesman in Rajeev Auto Khalini Shimla. On 19.07.2014, his owner Smt. Kusum Sud  has given her van No. HP-03-3561 having a chassis No. CH948583-EN890261, Model 1991, to him for the marketing purpose. During the intervening night of 19/20.07.2014, some unknown person has stolen away above Maruti van parked near TCP, at Kasumpti By-Pass Shimla.  The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PP Kasumpti.

3. A Rioting case FIR No. 46/14 is registered at PS Chopal today i.e. on 21.07.2014 U/S 147 149 323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Surender Singh S/o Sh. Fandiya R/o Village- Chama, PO- Charoli, Tehsil- Chopal, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 20.07.2014, at about 08:10 PM, when he was going to Rest House, at the same time, five persons namely Jalam Singh, Roshan Lal, Pratap Singh, Ram Lal & Virender Singh beaten him. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash, I/C PP Kupvi.

4. An Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No. 47/14  is registered at PS Chopal today i.e. on 21.07.2014 U/S 353 332 504 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jalam Singh S/o Sh. Mohi Ram R/o Village- Dimi, PO- Charoli, Tehsil- Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that he has  charge of Rest House. On 20.07.2014, at about 08:00 PM, when he was on duty in the Rest House, Surender R/o Village- Chama has came there, used unparliamentry language and beaten him. The Case is being investigated by HC Sohan Singh, I/O PP Kupvi.  

5. During last 24 hours 151 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 04 challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs.22000/-
