An Accident case FIR No. 90/14 is registered at PS East on 21.07.2014 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Heteshwar Bhardwaj S/o Sh. Bhupinder Kumar Bhardwaj R/O Sanjauli, Tehsil & District- Shimla alleging therein that on 21.07.2014 he was going along with his friend Rahul in Maruti Van No HP03-3561. When they reached near Mehli, Rahul lost his control from the vehicle and met with an accident. The case is being investigated by HC Shish Pal I/O PP Kasumpti.

An Accident case FIR No. 122/14 is registered at PS West today i.e. on 22.07.14 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Singh S/O Sh. Shaligram R/o Village- Sargal, PO- Kohi, Teh-Rohru, District- Shimla alleging therein that he was coming in his Car No. HP-10A-3922 along with his family from Hamirpur to Sanajuli. When he reached near Vidhan Sabha bifurcation, HRTC Taxi HP-02A-0719 hit his car and ran away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Liaq Ram, I/O PS West.
During last 24 hours 136 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs.22900/-
