An Excise Act case FIR No38/14 is registered at PS Chirgaon on 07.07.2014 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Ashish Samuel SI/SHO PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 07.07.14 he along with staff were on patrolling duty at Chirgaon. During checking they recovered 06 bottles of country liquor & 24 Bottles Beer in the possession of Sh. Jagdish Chand S/o Sh. Dharam Sain R/O Village Mangyari Tehsil Chirgaon. The case is being investigating by SHO PS Chirgaon.

A Theft case FIR No. 80/14 is registered at PS Rampur today i.e. on 08.07.2014 U/S 447,379 IPC 31,32 IF Act has been registered on the application of Sh. Devi Dass A/p Forest Range Officer, Nankhari, Shimla alleging therein that during the intervening night of 06/07.07.2014, some unknown person has cut the 6 trees of Devdar from the Bhorja Forest with the help of Power Saw. The case is being investigating by ASI Hari Singh I/C PP Nankhari.
During last 24 hours 273 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 07 person's challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 32,500/-.
