Crime Report 06 July, 2014

1. A Burglary case FIR No. 87/14 is registered at PS Theog on 05.07.2014 U/S 457 380 IPC that during the intervening night of 04.07.2014, some unknown person has opened the door lock of the Temple and stolen away 11/12 silver Chhatra and cash from the Temple. Case is being investigated by HC Sharifudin, I/O PS Theog.  

    

2. An Accident case FIR No. 88/14 is registered at PS Theog Shimla today i.e. on 06.07.14 U/S 279 304-A IPC on the rukka of P/SI Sanjeev Kumar, I/O PS Theog  therein that at about 06:25 AM, some unknown person gave information that one car has met with accident near village- Kachhi. On this information he a/w staff went to the spot at village Kachhi and found that one vehicle No. HP-09C-0963 (Tata Nano) coming towards Nairal, rolled down from the road due to rash & negligence driving of Sh. Preetam Singh. Above person died on the spot.  The case is being investigated by P/SI Sanjeev Kumar, I/O PS Theog Shimla.

    

3. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 47/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain today i.e. on 06.07.2014 U/S 341,323, 504, 506 IPC has been registered on the application of Sh. Kishore Kumar S/O Sh Munshi Ram R/O Vill. & PO- Glani, Tehsil & PS- Kumarsain, Distt.- Shimla HP alleging therein that today morning when he is going to Kotla one person namely Daya Ram R/O Village Glani obstructed his way, abused, beaten him with Stick and also threat him for dire consequence. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhi Ram I/O PS Kumarsain.

    

4. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 45/14 is registered at PS Rohru today i.e. on 06.07.2014 U/S 341 506 IPC has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Balwant Singh S/o Sh. Padam Singh R/o Shekhal, PO- Dadigonsa, Tehsil- Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 06.07.2014 when he was going to his orchards, at the same time one person namely Kuldeep Singh R/o Shekhal obstructed his way and threatened him for dire consequences him. The case is being investigated by HC Kalam Singh, I/O PS Rohru.

    

5. A Rioting Case FIR No 84/14 is registered at PS Sadar today i.e. on 06.07.2014 U/S 147,149,323 IPC on the complaint of Major Sahil Thakur, Cariappa Battalion Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Uttrakand alleging there in that he along with his friend SS-42318Y Major Harmandeep Singh and his families have gone to have dinner at Alpha Restaurant at The Mall Shimla.  At 10.35 PM while they were taking dinner, the person sitting at the reception started switching off the lights and fans. He politely requested him twice to switch on the light and fans. But the above person a/w other 11 employees of the Alfa Restaurant have beaten them. The Case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PP L/Bazar Simla

    

6. During last 24 hours 193 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 12 persons challaned under Smoking Act and 01 challan under Mining Act.  The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 32,800/-.
