Crime Report 05 July, 2014

1. An Accident case FIR No. 110/14 is registered at PS West on 04.07.2014 on the statement of Sh. Baldev Rohal S/o Lt. Sh. Roop Ram Rohal R/o Village- Gajairi, PO- Shoghi, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he is running a vegetable shop at Shoghi. On 04.07.2014, at about 01:40 PM he was standing outside his shop and his uncle Megh Ram was crossing the road. At the same time on vehicle No. HP-52-A-6896 (Alto K-10) came rashly and hit him. The case is being investigated by P/SI Shyam Singh, I/O PS West.

    

2. An Accident case FIR No. 28/14 is registered at PS New Shimla 04.07.14 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village- Dumehar, PO- Kadharghat, Tehsil- Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 04.07.2014 at about 07-05 PM he was going to Khalini in his vehicle No. HP-52-A-5375. At the same time one Mazda Truck No. HP-03B-2946 driven by Ram Chander Sharma came rashly and hit his vehicle from backside. The case is being investigated by HC Roshan, I/O P.S New Shimla.

    

3. An Accident case FIR No. 84/14 is registered at PS East Shimla 04.07.14 U/S 279 IPC & 184 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Pawan Thakur S/o Lt. Sh. Karam Singh Thakur R/o Naish Villa, Aingjai, Jakhu Shimla  alleging therein that he was going to home at Jakhu in his vehicle No. HP-03D-6000. When he reached near Horticulture office, one vehicle No. HP-16C-7200 was turning his vehicle. He blows the horn and the driver of above vehicle stopped his vehicle. But when he cross his vehicle, the driver of above vehicle reverse his car and hit his car & ran away from the spot.    The case is being investigated by P/SI Ashish Pathnia, I/O PS East Shimla.

4. An Accident case FIR No.95/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 05.07.2014 U/S 279 337 IPC has been registered on the statement of Sh. Bal Krishan S/O Sh. Sohan Lal R/O Village Pankwa P.O Tutan Tehsil Nirmand Distt. Kullu alleging therein that he the taxi driver by profession. On 04.07.2014 at about 11.30 PM he was coming from Rampur to Parwanoo in Tanker No. HP63C-1062 which was driven by Driver Visheshwar Lal. When driver Visheshwar Lal reached at Baba Balak Nath Mander near Chalounthi, due to rash driving he loses the control on tanker and fell down from the road. Three persons namely Bal Krishan, Rajesh, Bhagat Ram and driver Visheshwar Lal have got injuries in this accident.  The case is being investigated by HC Lekh Ram I/O P.P Sanjauli Shimla.  

5. During last 24 hours 195 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act and 03 challan under Mining Act.  The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 28,200/-.
