Crime Report 31 July,2014

1. A Rioting case FIR No.133/14 is registered at PS West on 30.07.14 U/S 147,148,149,323,506 IPC on the application of Sh. Dharmender Negi S/o Sh. Kesar Singh R/o C/o B.S. Negi, Department of IIHS, HPU Summer Hill Shimla alleging therein that on 30.07.2014 at about 11-30 AM, he along with his friend namely Vijay were put on banner of SFI to organize dharna at Kotshera College, Shimla. At the same time students of ABVP namely Atul, Ajay, Suresh, Lekh Raj etc. have attacked on them and threatened them with dire consequences. The case is being investigating by HC Liaq Ram , I/O PS West.  

2. A Rioting case FIR No 134/14 is registered at PS West on 30.07.14 U/S 147,148,149,323 IPC on the application of Sh. Ajay Sharma A/p student of BSc, IIIrd, Govt. Degree College, Kotshera, Shimla alleging therein that on 30.07.2014 at about 11:00 AM, he along with other students were  stood on the college gate. At the same time some students of SFI organization a/w outsiders namely Vineet Dhainta, Piyush, Aakhil, Manoj, Kapil, Rohit, Ankit etc. came there and beaten them. They have also started pelting stone and threatened them with dire consequences. The case is being investigating by HC Man Singh I/O PS West.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 56/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain on 30.07.2014 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Dogra S/o Lt. Sh. Panna Lal R/o Village & PO- Kolta, Tehsil & PS- Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 30.07.2014,he was going to home at Kotla in his WagneR Car No. HP-06A-2361. When he reached near link road towards Prem Nagar, another car No. HP-52A-5570 driven by Kamal Dutt Thakur, came rashly and hit his car.   The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 103/14 is registered at PS Theog today i.e. on 31.07.2014 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Krishan Chand S/o Sh. Lachhi Ram R/o Village- Badu, PO- Jais, Tehsil- Theog, Shimla alleging therein that during the intervening night of 30/31-07-2014, some unknown person has broken the door of Mata Mandir at Janog Ghat and stolen away one silver chhatra, one gold Nath.  The case is being investigated by HC Yogesh, I/O PS Theog.

5. A Dog Bite case FIR No.88/14 is registered at PS Rampur today i.e. on 31.07.14 U/S 289 IPC on application of Smt. Radha Devi W/o Sh. Budhi Singh R/o Village- Badog, PO & Sub Tehsil- Nankhari, Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 30.07.2014 at about 04:15 PM her daughter namely Simran bite by the pet dog of Sh. Harpal R/o village- Barog, PO &  Sub Tehsil- Nankhari, Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by  ASI Hari Singh, I/C PP Nankhari.

6. A Theft case FIR No. 89/14 is registered at PS Rampur today i.e. on 31.07.2014 U/S 379 IPC  that on 30.07.2014 at about 09:00 PM one person namely Moti Ram S/o Sh. Tej Ram Nepali A/P Village- Jagat Khana, Tehsil- Nirmand, has stolen away Rs. 23000/- from her purse, when she and Moti Ram were traveling in the three wheeler from Rampur to Khaneri. The case is being investigated by HC Devinder Kumar I/O PS Rampur.

7. An Accident Case FIR No. 135/14  is registered at PS West today i.e. on 31/7/14 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Pawan Thakur S/o Sh. Bal Krishan Thakur R/o Vill Phageda PO Panesh Teh & Distt Shimla alleging therein that today when mechanic Ram Kumar was repairing his vehicle at Balaji Auto Mobile at Hira Nagar, suddenly a Bus No.HP-36A-2155 driven by Kuldeep Singh S/o Sh. Swaran Singh R/o Mandli PO Muhal Teh Dehra Distt Kangra came rashly and crushed the foot of a child. The case is being investigating by H.C Susheel I/O PP Jatogh.

8. During last 24 hours 155 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act & 04 challan under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 30,700/-

Follow-up

     Accused Dinesh Sharma S/O Sh.Rameshwer Dass R/O Village Dhar   PO Shakrah Tehsil & District Shimla  has  been arrested in Case FIR No.132/14 dated 30-07-2014 U/S 420, 465, 468 IPC PS  West        

       today sent to Police Custody for one day.
