Crime Report 26 July, 2014

  1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 44/14 is registered at PS Sunni on 25.07.2014 U/S 15-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Tara Singh Negi, SHO PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.07.2014, he along with staff were on patrolling. When they reached near Village- Dadhog, one person namely Yash Pal S/o Sh. Khem Raj R/o Vilalge Dadhog, PO- Reog, Tehsil- Sunni, Shimla intercepted by them. During search 2.395 Kg. poppy straws recovered from his possession. The case is being investigating by SI Tara Singh, SHO PS Sunni.

  2. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 105/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 25.07.14 U/S  20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Dharmesh Dutt I/O PS Dhalli Shimla alleging therein that on 25.07.2014, he along with  staff were on patrolling/Hotel Checking duty towards Kufri. At about 03:15 PM he received a secret information that Hanish Sharma S/o Sh. Ashok Sharma, Upper Bazaar Chail, PS- Kandaghat, Solan A/p Shopkeeper, Shop No. 7,Chini Bangla, Kufri illegally sold the drugs. On this information, during search of his shop, they recovered 420 grams charas from his possession. The case is being investigating by ASI Dharmesh Dutt, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla.

  3. An Excise case FIR No. 91/14 is registered at PS East on 25.07.14 U/S 39 H.P Excise Act on the Rukka of ASI Narinder I/O PS East Shimla alleging therein that he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Himland, Shimla. At about 08.15 PM when they reached at Shivpuri near St. Edward School, one person namely Munish Verma S/o Sh. Charan Dass Verma R/o Village- Anji, Tehsil & PS- Kandaghat, Distt. Solan intercepted by them and recovered 48 bottles of country liquor Marka Saroor 750ml each from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Narinder, I/O PS East.

  4. Arrest Information:- On 25.07.2014 one person namely Sunder Singh S/o Sh. Banki Ram R/O Village Dashmala, PO- Dofda, Tehsil- Rampur, Distt. Shimla HP age -44 years has been arrested in case FIR No 70/14 Dt. 23.06.2014 U/S 353,332,333,504 IPC at Police Station Rampur.

  5. During last 24 hours 214 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 21,100/-
