Crime Report 30 July,2014

1. A Theft case FIR No. 102/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 29.07.14 U/S 379 IPC that on 26.07.2014, he has parked his nephew's car No. DL-2CZ-2845 on the road side near U.S. Club Shimla. On 29.07.2014, when he check the above vehicle and found that some unknown person has broken the left side glass of back seat and stolen away AC compressor, Battery, DVD player (Pioneer), one spare Stephaney with alloy wheel, Radiator, Registration Certificate & Insurance from the above vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Puran Chand, I/O PS Sadar.

2. An Accident case FIR No 87/14 is registered at PS Rampur today i.e. on 30.07.14 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Smt. Radha Devi W/O Sh. Jagdish Singh R/o Village- Thara,  PO- Munish Bhali, Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that today at about 08:45 AM, when she was coming towards Rampur along with  son namely Parikishat, Anita Devi, Shiv Lal in vehicle HP-06A-4775. Sh. Vikram Singh was driven the vehicle. When they reached near Khnotu Tecklech, driver Vikram lost his control and above vehicle fell down from the road. All five persons have sustained injuries in this accident. The Case is being investigating by HC Hans Raj, I/C PP Tecklech. 

3. An Accident case FIR No 55/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain today i.e. on 30.07.2014 U/S 279, 304-A IPC on the statement of Sh. Leela Ram S/O Lt. Sh. Roop Chand R/o Village- Shelag, PO- Phral, Tehsil & PS Kumarsain, Distt- Shimla alleging therein that today at about 8.25 AM, he was present in his quarter and listen some noises from the outside. When he reached on the road and saw that one girl namely Ishita alias Ishu D/o Sh. Rajesh Kumar R/o Village- Shand was lying on the road with blood stained injury and he came to know that one truck No. HR-63-5220 LP Truck has hit her. She has died on the way to hospital. Accused person has been arrested by the police. The case is being investigated ASI Lachhi Ram I/O PS Kumarsain.

4. A Burglary case FIR No. 131/14 is registered at PS West today i.e. on 30.07.2014 U/S 457,380 IPC  that he is caretaker of Sarpar Devta Temple at Industrial Area Shoghi. During the intervening night of 29/30.07.2014, some unknown person has stolen away the "antique Idols (ashatdhatu) of Sarpar Devta, two silver chhatras and cash Rs. 300/- from the above temple. The case is being investigated by P/SI Rohit, I/O PS West.

5. A Cheating case FIR No. 132/14 is registered at PS West today i.e. on 20.07.14 U/S 420,468,465 IPC on the complaint of Nk. Sudhanshu Kumar, MT/NCO ARTRAC Shimla alleging therein that today he was deputed by the Army Authority for check the vehicle 's permit/pass issued by the Army Authorities to Taxi No. HP-01A-4378 driven by Dinesh Sharma S/o Sh. Rameshwar Dass R/o Village- Dhar, PO- Shakrah, Tehsil- Sunni, Distt. Shimla. During checking two certificates are found genuine and two certificates have not been issued by the Army Authority, which are prepared by him illegally. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS West.   

6. During last 24 hours 191 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act & 01 challan under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 16,300/-  

7. Today i.e. on 30.07.2014, two days workshop on "How to Handle Media and How to Interact with Media" organized at Police Line Kaithu Shimla. The workshop presided over by Sh. Rajender Mohan Sharma (Retd. DIG, HP).

   Follow-up

1. Two accused namely Aminudeen S/o Sh.Misar Deen R/o Village Markanda PO Jukhala, District Bilaspur and Tahir Khan S/O Sh. Rasid Muhmad R/O Gajod PO Jukhala, District Bilaspur arrested in Case FIR No. 130/14 Dt. 27.07.14 U/S 18,20-61-85 ND&PS Act at  PS West further remanded in police custody upto 01.08.2014.

2. Case FIR No.129/14 dated 26/07/14 U/s 22 ND&PS Act PS West. Accused Ajay Kumar S/o Sh. Padam Kumar R/o Uttam Niwas Phagli Shimla-4 further sent to judicial Custody.

3. Accused Namely Nirmal Singh S/o Sh. Bahadur Singh R/o Vishavkarma Cottage, Dhalli Shimla & Manpreet Singh S/o Sh. Sher Singh R/o New Krishna Building Dhalli Shimla are arrested in case FIR No. 100/14 Dt. 26.07.14 U/S 22, 29-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Sadar, further sent to judicial Custody.
