An Accident case FIR No.48/14 is registered at PS Rohru on 08-07-14 U/S 279,304-A IPC on the statement of Sh. Kishan Singh S/O Sh.Gauri Nand R/O VPO Dadhi Gunsa Tehsil- Jubbal, Shimla, age 46yrs alleging therein that he alongwith his relatives namely Vinod Kumar, Smt Dharopti, Smt Vandana and Jai Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Sunder Singh R/o Village- Saharan, PO- Narain, Tehsil- Rampur, Shimla were going from Hatkoti to Narain in car No HP-10A-2055 and Jai Singh was drive the above car. At about 08-30PM when they reached near Sammerkot, Jai Singh loose his control and the car rolled down 40/50 feet into the nallah. Driver Jai Singh died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kundan Lal I/C PP City Rohru.

A Burglary case FIR No. 85/14 is registered at PS Sadar, Shimla on 08.07.2014 U/S 457,380 IPC has been registered on 08.07.2014, when he reached at his home at Kelati, he found that some unknown person has broken the door lock of his house and stolen away his garments i.e. one blue colour Coat, two half sleeve Jackets, two trousers, Insurance papers and cash Rs. 4000/-. The case is being investigating by HC Amar Dutt, I/O PP Lakkar Bazaar.
A Rioting case FIR No. 97/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 08.07.2014 U/S 147, 148, 149, 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dharam Vir R/o Village- Kayana, PO- Junga, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that the residents of Village- Kayana have invited Naib-Tehsildar Junga for the demarcation of the land, where road will be constructed from Sadhupul to Kayana. At about 01-30 PM, when Kanungo finished the demarcation work and telling about the boundary. At the same time Vijay Kumar, Surjeet Kumar, Kamlesh Kumari, Naju Devi, Seema & Lata have beaten them, in which Naveen Kumar & Rajiv Kashyap have got injured. The case is being investigated by HC Prem Singh, I/O PP Junga.
A Rioting case FIR No. 98/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 08.07.2014 U/S 147, 148, 149, 323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vijay Kumar alleging therein that on 08.07.2014 at 12-20 PM, he was present at home, then Kanungo & Patwari of Settlement Department have came their and informed him about the demarcation of unauthorized possession, made by him. When demarcation party was telling him about the boundary line with Dharmavir, at the same time Dharamvir a/w his two sons, Manohar Lal, Durga Ram, Raj Kumar & Parveen have started beaten him. The case is being investigated by HC Prem Singh, I/O PP Junga.
A Rioting case FIR No. 39/14 is registered at PS Chopal on 08.07.2014 U/S 147,149, 323 IPC on the application of Sh. Rakesh Chajta S/o Sh. Jeet Singh R/o Village & PO- Maraog, Tehsil- Chopal, District- Shimla HP alleging there in that on 08.07.2014 he was attending the marriage of Rajesh Roukhta R/o Satar, PO- Maraog. At about 3:00 AM, Sunil @ Sagar alongwith his friends namely Rony, Virender, Ramesh, Mela Ram & Laiq Ram beaten him. The case is being investigated by ASI pratap singh I/O PS Chopal.
During last 24 hours 207 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act and 11 person's challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 23,700/-.
