Crime Report 27 July, 2014

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 129/14 is registered at PS West on 26.07.2014 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of P/SI Shyam, I/O PS West Shimla alleging therein that he alongwith staff on patrolling duty on Bypass road towards  Ram Nagar, Shimla. At about 08:00 PM, when they reached near bridge, he saw that one without number Bolero Camper was parked on the roadside and one person namely Ajay Kumar S/o Sh. Padam Kumar R/o Uttam Niwas, Phagli, Shimla was sitting inside the above vehicle.  During search, he recovered restricted medicines i.e. 3 bottles of Rexcoff 100ml each, 6 capsule of SPASMO-PROXYVDN+Plus & 6.5 Tablets Nitroson-10 from his possession. The case is being investigating by P/SI Shyam, I/O PS West Shimla.

2. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 100/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 26.07.14 U/S  22,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Sandeep, Incharge PP Lakkar Bazaar Shimla alleging therein that on 25.07.2014, he alongwith  staff on patrolling towards Art Centre near IGMC Road Shimla. At about 09:30 PM, they intercepted one Maruti car No. HP-63-2393 alongwith two persons namely Nirmal Singh S/o Sh. Bahadur Singh R/o Vishavkarma Cottage, Dhalli Shimla & Manpreet Singh S/o SH. Sher Singh R/o New Krishna Building Dhalli Shimla. During search, they recovered 122 bottles of Rexcoff 100 ml each, from their possession.  The case is being investigated by SI Sandeep, Inchage PP Lakkar Bazaar Shimla. 

3. An Excise case FIR No. 34/14 is registered at PS Kotkhai on 26.07.14 U/S 39 H.P Excise Act on the Rukka of SI/SHO PS Kotkhai Shimla alleging therein that he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Koku Nalah. At about 06.30 PM, on the secret information one person namely Vishal Thapa S/o Sh. Nain Singh Thapa R/o Village & PO- Motaila, Tehsil- Dharampukhar, District- Surket, Anchalberi- Odda No.-1, Nepal was intercepted by them. During search of his dhara, they recovered 48 bottles of country liquor Marka Nalagarh No.-1, 750ml each from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Kotkhai.

4. An Accident case FIR No. 106/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 26.07.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjeev Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Mansa Ram R/O Majhdhaar, PO- Kyarkoti, Tehsil & Distt Shimla alleging therein that when he was going to Sidle in private bus. At about 12:20 PM he came to know that one Car No HP-62-1409 was fell down near Mashobra driven by his father-in-law. In this accident his father-in-law and mother-in-law have got injured. The case is being investigating by ASI Ajeet singh I/C PP Mashobra.

5. An Accident case FIR No 54/14 is registered at PS Kumarsain today i.e. on 27.07.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Smt. Fulma Katoch W/o Sh Jagmohan Katoch R/O Village & PO- Shush, Tehsil and PS- Kumarsain alleging therein that today he alongwith his daughter and son were going to Kingal from Bharara in HRTC Bus. The bus Stopped for Lunch at Jabli. When she was crossing the road a/w her son, at the same time Private Bus No HP63B-4725 driven by Rakesh, Came rashly from Shimla side and hit them. In this accident they have got sustains Injuries. The case is being investigating by the L/HC Sita I/O PS Kumarsain.

6. Today Shimla Police has organized a Tree Plantation campaign under the supervision of Sh. Bhajan Dev Negi, Additional Superintendent of Police, City, Shimla  in which 50 trees of Akhnoor & 50 trees of Devdar have been planted in surrounding area of Police Line Kaithu, Shimla

7. During last 24 hours 118 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act & 09 Persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 28,260/-
