An Excise Act case FIR No. 95/14 is registered at PS Theog today i.e. on 19.07.2014 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha alleging therein that today he along with staff were on Nakabandi duty at Alidhar. One vehicle No. HP-36A-1210 (Jeep Commander) driven by Dinesh kumar S/o Sh. Inder Singh R/o Village- Jetari, PO- Podia, Tehsil- Chopal, Shimla intercepted by them. During checking they recovered 48 bottles of country liquors (marka Sirmaur Orange) from the vehicle. The case is being investigating by ASI Sanjeev Kumar.

An Accident Case FIR No. 86/14 is registered at PS Rampur on 18.07.14 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sushil Kumar S/o Sh. Balu Ram R/o Village- Gumanak, PO- Khun, Tehsil- Aani, District Shimla alleging therein that on 18.07.2014, he was on way to Rampur in vehicle No. HP-06-3275 along with Kishan, Sunder Singh and Pratap. At about 08:00 AM when they reached near Badrash, Driver Kishan Chand has lost his control on vehicle and met with an accident, in which they got injured. The case is being investigating by HC Janak Raj I/O PS Rampur.
During last 24 hours 166 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs.35,900/-
