Crime Report 27 November, 2015

1. An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 210/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 26.11.15 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Karam Chand, I/O PS Rmapur, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.11.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/ law & order duty at Lavi Mela Ground Pat Bangla. When he was searching the accused, arrested in case FIR No. 209/15 U/S 13, Public Gambling Act, he recovered 28 gram opium from the possession of Abhishek S/o Sh. Sudesh Kumar R/o Sodal Nagar, Jalandhar, Punjab. The case is being investigated by ASI Karam Chand I/O PS Rampur.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 119/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 26-11-2015 U/S 279, 337, 304(A) IPC on the statement of Sh. Upender Ram S/O Sh. Lalu R/O Dhanchawar PO Mugmakala Tehsil & PS Pandu Distt. Plamu Jharkhand alleging therein that today he a/w 43 other persons was going from Patsari to Mahendli in a tipper No. HP 72-1307, at about 02.30pm when they reached near Sandaur, at the same time, a Motor Cycle No. HP 10A 7225 came rashly in wrong side and collide with tipper. In this accident, Sh. Sohan Lal rider of above M/Cycle died on the spot and another woman sustained injury. The case is being investigated by the   ASI Kamal  Nain  I.O PS Rohru.
3. A Kalandra u/s 3,4 gambling Act has been registered at PS Rampur against 05 persons namely Vikas S/o Pawan Kumar, Sushil Kumar S/o Sh. Maina Ram, Yog Raj S/o Sh. Joban Dass, Surinder Kumar S/ o Sh. Charan Dass and Pardeep Kumar S/o Roshan Lal. All above persons found playing gambling in the room of Naveen Kumar S/o Leela Chand at present Tenant in the house of Prem Singh, ward No.-1, Kalyanpur Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla and recovered Rs. 24,700/- on the spot.  
4. During last 24 hours 123 vehicles challaned under M.V. Act and 05 challan under smoking Act. Total Challan compounded = 57 and fine realized Rs. 26,500/-  

Follow up 

1. Accused Rupinder Singh S/o Sh. Bhagat Singh & Jash Pal S/o Lt. Sh. Karam Dass (both) R/o Village Ranol, Tehsil Chirgaon arrested in case FIR No. 80/15 Dt. 25.11.15 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Chirgaon sent on Judicial Custody by the trial Court.

2. Accused Abhishek S/o Sh. Sudesh Kumar R/O House No.102 Mohalla Sodal Nagar Jalander Tehsil Jalander Punjab age 25 years arrested in Case FIR No 210/15 dt. 26/11/15 U/S 18 of NDPS Act at PS Rampur is on Police remand upto 28-11-2015
