Crime Report 26 November, 2015

1. An ND&PS act case FIR No. 80/15 Dt. 25.11.15 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Chirgaon has been registered on the rukka of ASI Bhagirath, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.11.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty. At about 04-30 PM, when they reached near Ranol Kainchi, two pesons namely Rupinder Singh S/o Sh. Bhagat Singh & Jash Pal S/o Lt. Sh. Karam Dass (both) R/o Village Ranol, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, intercepted by them and recovered 4.320 Kg. Charas from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagirath, I/O PS Chirgaon.
2. A Gambling Act case FIR No. 209/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 26-11-2015 u/s 13 Gambling act on the rukka of ASI Karam Chand I/C PP City Rampur stated therein that today he alongwith staff was on patrolling/Mela duty at Pat bangla ground Rampur. During patrolling 04 persons namely Rama Nand, Abhishek, Chintamani and Nonu found playing gambling and recovered 7100/- on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Karam Chand I/C PP City Rampur.
3. An Accident FIR No. 117/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 25.11.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 M.V. Act on the statement of Akshay Chauhan S/O Sh. Dhamender Chauhan R/O VPO Samoli Tehsil & PS Rohru, Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that at about 03:10 pm when he and his friend Prajul were paked his Motor Cycle No. HP 10A 2651, at the same time, a pik up No. HP 62A-1762 came rashly and negligently from Rohru side and hit his above motor cycle and run away from the spot. In this accident he and his friend sustained injuries. The case is being  investigated by SI Vikas Sharma Addl. SHO PS Rohru.
4. An Accident case FIR No. 118/15 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 26-11-15 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ajay Tanta S/o Sh. Harish Chand Tanta R/o Mohana PO Dochi Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla  alleging therein that today he was going towards Rohru in his brother Vehicle No. HP52B-3100 (Scorpio). At  about 10.30 Am when he reached near Mehandali bridge a vehicle No. HP01A-1647 came rashly and negligently in wrong side and hit his vehicle. In this accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by the   ASI Kamal  Nain  I.O PS Rohru.
5. An Accident case FIR No. 60/15 has been registered at PS Chopal on 26-11-2015 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the ruka of ASI Ram Gopal I.O PS Chopal alleging therein that in the intervening night 25-26-11-2015, a santro car bearing no. HP08A-1110 met with an accident near Dhabas Kenchi due to rash and negligent driving of driver and rolled down 120 meter down from road.  In this accident Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Mohar Singh R/o village Shanag P.O. Jhiknipul Pargana Shak Tehsil Chopal District Shimla presently posted in Himachal Pradesh Police as constable at PS Chopal died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Gopal.
6. During last 24 hours 278 vehicles challaned under M.V. Act and 02 challan under smoking Act. Total Challan compounded = 192 and fine realized Rs. 49,000/-  

Follow up 

1. Accused Hemraj S/o Sh. Parkash Chand R/o Village Majyat, PO Arki & Devender S/o Sh. Rajender R/o Village & PO Arki arrested in case FIR No. 66/15 Dt. 24.11.15 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Sunni sent on Judicial Custody by the trial court.

2. Accused Rupinder Singh S/o Sh. Bhagat Singh & Jash Pal S/o Lt. Sh. Karam Dass (both) R/o Village Ranol, Tehsil Chirgaon has been arrested in case FIR No. 80/15 Dt. 25.11.15 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Chirgaon.
