Crime Report on September 01, 2018

1. AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR No. 118/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 01.09.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Sh. Priyank Gupta, Dy.SP (Prob.)/SHO PS Rampur alleging therein that on 31.08.2018 he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Shingla. At about 11-10 PM, on the secret information one vehicle No. HP06A-9184, which was on the way towards Nogidhar, stopped by them for checking. During the search, 24 Bottles of Country & 16 Bottles of English liquor from the above vehicle under the possession of Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh. Jutu Ram R/o Village Nogidhar, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla.  The case is being investigated by Dy.SP (Prob.)/SHO PS Rampur.
2. AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR No. 64/18 dated 31.08.2018 u/s 39(1) HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Nerwa, Shimla on the rukka of SI/SHO Kulwant Singh PS Nerwa alleging therein that on 31.08.2018 during patrolling along with staff, he apprehended one person namely Ram Lal S/o Tikmai Ram R/o Silodi PO Kedi Tehsil Nerwa and recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Kulwant Singh PS Nerwa.
3. AN ACCIDENT  case FIR No. 247/18 dated 01.09.2018 u/s 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act has been registered at PS West on the statement of Sh. Keshav S/o Sh. Leela Ram R/o VPO Shanti Nagar Distt. Dang (Nepal) A/P Yana home stay Ghanahti stated therein that he is working as cook in Yana Home stay. On 31.08.2018 around 09-30 PM one vehicle rashly and negligently hit one person and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Madan Lal I.O PP Dhami.
4. AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 108/18 dated 31.08.2018 u/s 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act has been registered at PS East on the statement of Sh. Anil Sharma S/o Sh. Ram Lok R/o Kulthali PO Baroti Tehsil Sunder Nagar stated therein that he is civil engineer in Kuthila Construction at Sarghin Shimla. On 31.08.2018 he was going from Junga to Sarghin in motorcycle No. HP31A-7302. At about 02-13 PM when he reached near Ashwani Pul at Stone crasher one pick up No. HP63-0749 came rashly and negligently toward Mehli and hit his motorcycle and ran away from the spot. In this accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Parmod Kumar.  
5. A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 119/18 Dt. 01.09.2018 U/S 451,323,34 IPC has been registered at PS Rampur on the complaint of Sh. Kam Ram S/o Sh. Budh Ram R/O Vill Shaneri PO Shingla Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 01.09.2018 at about 05-00 AM, when he was present in his house(Shaneri). At the same time two persons namely Rajinder(Manu) & Nand Lal R/O Vill Shaneri Po Shingla Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP illegally entered in his house and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Jaswant Gupta, I/O PS Rampur
6. During last 24 hours 463 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=143 fine realized Rs. 60,000/- and 15 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1600/-.
