Crime Report on Sept. 18, 2018

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 84/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 17.09.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Sohan Lal, I/C PP Sarswati Nagar, Jubbal alleging therein that on 17.09.2018, during traffic checking alongwith staff near College Gate Sarswati Nagar, one Motorcycle No. HP10A-5602 alongwith rider namely Veer Bahadur Village Karchhari, PO Sharontha, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, who was on the way from Sawra Bazar, intercepted by them and during the search, 16 Gram Charas recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Ashwani No. 36, I/O PS Jubbal.  

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 261/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 17.09.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Keshav Chand, I/O PS West Shimla alleging therein that on 17.09.2018 he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Taradevi, Shoghi etc.. On the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the shop of Gopal Thakur S/o Sh. Amar Chand R/o Village Boura, PO Anandpur, Tehsil & District Shimla A/P running a Meat Shop at Shoghi Bazar, Shimla and recovered 07 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand, I/O PS West.  

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 113/18 has been registered at PS East Shimla on 17.09.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Baldev Singh IC PP Kasunpati Shimla alleging therein that on 17.09.2018 at about 9.25 PM, during patrolling along with staff one person namely Virender Singh S/O Sh. Rann Singh R/O Village & PO Korag, Tehsil Sangrah, District Sirmour A/P Lower Vikasnagar, Shimla apprehended by them on the road leading towards Kasumpati Bazar from Himmuda Colony and Recovered 09 Bottles of Country liquor  from his possession. The case is being investigated by IC PP Kasumpati.

4.    A WILD LIFE ACT: Case FIR No. 135/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 17.09.2018 U/S 51 The Wild Life Protection Act on the rukka of SI Karam Chand, Addl. SHO PS Rampur alleging therein that on 17.09.2018 at 01-00 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff, two full Tiger rug (skin)  from the possession of Santok Singh S/o Sh. Kishori Lal R/o Village Bhamlai, PO Thanadhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, District Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Karam Chand, I/O PS Rampur.

5.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 190/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 17.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Nitya Nand Sharma S/o Sh. Charanjee Lal Sharma R/o Village Padol, PO  Bagadi, Teshil Theog, District Shimla alleging therein that two vehicles No. HP09A-8000 & PB07(T)AC-5683 collided with each other near Petrol Pump Theog, sustained injuries to the passengers sit in vehicle No. HP09A-8000. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Chand, I/O PS Theog.

6.    A GREVIOUS INJURY: Case FIR No. 48/18 has been registred at PS  Nankhari today on 18.09.2018 U/S 323,325 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Hari Dass S/O  Late Sh. Nain Sukh R/O Village Shalag(Kholighat) PO Khunni, Tehsil Nankhari, District Shimla alleging therein that on 17.09.2018, at about 03-00 PM one Ishu Mehta S/O Sh. Bhajan Dass R/O Village Kholi Ghat beaten him brutally at Kholi Bazar  and broken his teeth. The Case is being investigated by HC Devender Nath IO PS Nankhari.      

7. During last 24 hours 324 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=194 fine realized Rs. 76,600/- and 19 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1900/-.

FOLLOW UP:

1. Accused Sushank Shelly S/o Sh. Mohinder Shelly R/o Ward No.-1, Kalyanpur, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 27 years, arrested in case FIR No. 134/18 Dt. 15.09.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur, is remanded in police custody upto 19.09.2018  by the Ld. Court.
2. Accused Veer Bahadur R/o Village Karchhari, PO Sharontha, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 84/18 Dt. 17.09.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Jubbal is being produced before Ld Court on today.
3. Accused Santok Singh S/o Sh. Kishori Lal R/o Village Bhamlai, PO Thanadhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 135/18 Dt. 17.09.2018 U/S 15 Wildlife Protection Act at PS Rampur is being produced before Ld Court on today.
