Crime Report on Sept. 06, 2018

1. A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 105/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 05.09.2018 U/S 379 IPC & 32, 33 The Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Sh. Bhagmal Sharma A/P Range Forest Officer, Forest Range Sarain, Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that alleging therein that illicit felling was detected in Jhina Beat Jakholi Block of Sarain Range in which 16 stmps of different types of sizes and spices was found. The case is being investigated by SI Baldev Singh, SHO PS Chopal.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 104/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 05.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Village & PO Dewat Tehsil Chopal, Shimla stated therein that on 05.09.2018, a Maruti Car bearing registration No. HP62A-2966 met with an accident and rolled down from the road into deep trench at Bahaldhar. In this accident, two persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar, I/O PS Chopal.
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 252/18 has been registered at PS West, Shimla today on 06/09/2018 U/S 279,237 IPC on the statement of Sh. Tony Negi S/O Sh. Nochun Negi R/O Urgan Cottage, Dhingu Dhar, Sanjauli, Shimla stated therein that today on 06.09.2018 he was going towards Kumar House from Totu in his Alto Car No. HP07A-0508. As he reached near Power House, at the same time a car No. PB01-8482 driven by Narinder, overtaking another vehicles with rashly & negligently driving and hit his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC. Suresh Kumar I/O PS. West.
4. During last 24 hours 230 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=138 fine realized Rs. 54,700/- and 17 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,700/-.

1. Accused Aass Bahadur S/o Sh. Jog Bahadur R/o Village & PO Gehari gaon, Distt. Rukkam, Nepal, age 38 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 177/18 Dt. 04.09.18 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli is remanded in Police custody upto 07.09.2018 by the Ld. Court.
2. Accused i) Lucky Bansal S/o Sh. Shambhu Ram R/o Sandhya Niwas, Cemetery Road, Sanjauli Shimla, age 20 years, ii) Abhishek Mehta S/o Sh. Ashok Mehta R/o Trimurti Niwas, Lower Cemetery, Sanjauli, Shimla, age 19 years, iii) Saurabh Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o Village Gyana PO Mangu Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan, age 19 years and iv) Vineet Katoch S/o Sh. Rajender Katoch R/o Village Sai PO Kyara Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 19 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 178/18 Dt. 04.09.18 U/S 20, 29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli are remanded in judicial custody upto 06.09.2018 by the Ld. Court.
3. Accused Brij Lal S/o Janku Ram R/o Vill. Thana PO Mandal Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla age 25 years arrested in case FIR No. 123/2018 dated 03-09-2018 u/s 379,411 IPC at PS Rohru is remanded in judicial Custody, by the Ld. Court.
4. Accused Santosh Kumar S/o Sh. Prem Bahadur R/o Gulariya Nepal,25 years arrested in case FIR No. 114/18 Dt. 07.08.2018 U/S 379 IPC at PS Rohru, is being produced before Ld. Court today.
