Crime Report on Sept. 30, 2018

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 107/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 30.09.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Rajesh Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain, Shimla  stated therein that on 30.09.2018, during patrolling/ traffic checking alongwith staff on National Highway at Jogsha, one Motorcycle No. HP64-6578 alongwith two persons namely Santosh S/o Sh. Roop Lal & Anurag S/o Sh. Hira Singh (Both) R/o Village Lalen, PO Morang, Tehsil Morang, District Kinnuar, intercepted by them and during the search 110 Gram Charas has been recovered from their possession.  The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain.

2.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 274/18 has been registered at PS West, Shimla on 30.09.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Roop Singh S/o Sh. Param Ram R/o Village Mohro PO Shoghi, Tehsil & District Shimla during the intervening night of 29/30.09.2018 at about 01-45 AM, one Tipper No. HP68-4654, which was on the way link road towards Railway Station, met with an accident and rolled down on the slab of his house. In this accident, one person namely Sandeep S/o Sh. Jagdish Chand R/o village Taprala, PO Shoghi, Tehsil & District Shimla died on the spot and two another persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS West, Shimla.

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 145/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 30.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Chuni Lal S/o Sh. Budhi Singh R/o Village Kundu-I, PO Nogli, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 29.09.2018 at about 11-40 PM, one Car met with an accident on National Highway-05 near Badrash due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Sonu Negi. In this accident, three persons namely Sonu Negi, Manoj Chauhan & Shanta Sharma, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Norender Raj, I/O PS Rampur.  

4.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 109/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 29.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dhani Ram A/P Road Inspector, stated therein that on 29.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC stated therein that on 29.09.2018 at about 02-30 PM, one JCB bearing registration No. HP08A-2677 met with an accident near Tiyadi Nala due to rash & negligent driving of Sudershan S/o Sh. Hari Singh R/o Village Sandyal PO Fatuka Bagh, Tehsil Nurpur, District Kangra, age 28 years, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Moti Lal, I/O PS Chopal.  

5.     During  last 24 hours 288 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 140,  fine realized Rs. 79,400/- and 27 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3300/-.

FOLLOW UP:

1.    Accused Vipul Thakur S/o Sh. Chattar Singh Thakur R/o Village & PO Masali, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 197/18 Dt. 26.09.2018 U/S 21, 25 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in police custody upto 01.10.2018, by the Ld. Court.

2.     Accused Sahab Nath S/o Sh. Udhmi Nath R/o Village Rangmahal Tehsil & PS Sooratgarh District Gangasagar, Rajasthan, age 27 years and Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Ramesh Chand R/o Village & Tehsil Alnabad, District Sirsa, Haryana, age 18 years, arrested in case FIR No. 195/18 Dt. 27.09.2018 U/S 420 468 471 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 01.10.2018, by the Ld. Court.
