Crime Report on Sept. 12, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 186/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 11.09.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sudesh, I/O PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 11.09.2018 at about 03-30 PM, during nakabandi alongwith staff on National Highway near Devi More, one person namely Brij Mohan S/o Sh. Shyam Singh R/o Village & PO Sareevan, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla intercepted by them and during the search 1.829 Kg. Charas recovered from his possession. The accused has been arrested by the Police and the case is being investigated by HC Sudesh No. 28, I/O PS Theog.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 185/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 12.09.2018 U/S 279 337 427 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vineet Kumar S/o Sh. Mohinder Singh Thakur R/o Village Khata PO Darlaghat, Tehsil Arki, District Solan, HP alleging therein that today on 12.09.2018, he was going towards Rohru from Darlaghat in his Truck No. HP64B-5763 loaded with cement. At about 05-00 AM, when he reached near Hasan Valley, at the same time a Truck No. PB07AA-9224 loaded with apple boxes, driven by Ranjeet  Singh S/o Sh. Balwant Singh R/o Ranjitpur PO Talwan, Tehsil Phillaur, Distt. Jalandhar, Punjab, age 40 years, came rashly in wrong direction and collided with his truck and above both trucks rolled on the road.   The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli.  
3. ASSAULT ON GOVT. SERVANT DURING PERFORMING HIS GOVT. DUTY: Case FIR No. 207/18 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 12.09.2018 U/S 353 332 34 IPC on the statement of HHG Dimple No. 02/03-03 A/P Traffic Wing Shimla alleging therein that on 11.09.2018, when he was on traffic shift duty from 08-00 PM to 02-00 AM near Ritz Cinema and saw that one person started to break the traffic cone near police gumati. When he tried to stop him, he alongwith two another persons, one of them was Chanderkant- activists of SFI organization, have started to abuse him. They all scuffled with him and beaten him brutally during performing their govt. duty. The case is being investigated by HC Himesh No. 25, I/O PS Sadar Shimla.
4. A GREIVOUS INJURY: Case FIR No. 205/18 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 11.09.2018 U/S 323 325 506 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Shakti Bhardwaj S/o Sh. Jag Mohan Bhardwaj R/o Village & PO Singla, Tehsil Rampur Bsr. District Shimla A/P 123, DRDO Residential Complex Sector-42A, Chandigarh alleging therein that on 31.07.2018 at about 07-30 PM, when he was going towards HP University, on the way three persons beaten him brutally, abused and threatened him with dire consequences, sustained grievous injuries on his  ear. The case is being investigated by ASI Dhanveer Singh, I/O PS Sadar.
5. During last 24 hours 301 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=131 fine realized Rs. 45,900/- and 23 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2200/-.

FOLLOW-UP:

1.    Accused Saurabh Sharma S/o Sh. Nanak Chand  Sharma R/o Village Satans PO Dochi, Tehsil Jubbal, District Shimla A/P Mahunta Niwas Ward No.-4, Upper Bazar, Rohru, Shimla, age 24 years arrested in Case FIR No. 124/18 Dt. 05.09.2018 U/S 354B, 354D, 506 509 323 IPC at PS Rohru, is remanded in police custody upto 13.09.2018, by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Jai Bahadur S/o Sh. Tulsi Singh Rawat R/o Village Jhajarkot,  PO Dusera, Tehsil Suanawali, District Khalanga Anchal Beri Nepal, age 19 years, arrested in case FIR No. 80/18 Dt. 10.09.2018 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Jubbal, is remanded in police custody upto 13.09.2018, by the Ld. Court.    

3.    Proclaimed Offender Santosh Kumar S/o Sh. Kirpa Ram R/o Village & PO Khayah Tehsil Taunidevi District Hamirpur, age 53 years arrested in case FIR No. 52/86 Dt. 07.05.1986 U/S 379 IPC at PS West Shimla, is remanded in police custody upto 13.09.2018, by the Ld. Court.

4.    Accused Brij Mohan S/o Sh. Shyam Singh R/o Village & PO Sareevan, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 186/18 Dt. 11.09.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 14.09.2018, by the Ld. Court.

5.    Accused Shingra Ram S/o Sh. Jaggan Nath R/o Village Alipul PO Rudki, Tehsil Garhshankar, District Hoshiapur, Punjab, arrested in case FIR No. 184/18 Dt. 12.09.2018 U/S 457 380 34 IPC at PS Dhalli, is being produced before Ld. Court.
