Crime Report on Sept. 22, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT : Case FIR No. 214/18 has been registered at PS Sadar, Shimla  on dated 21.09.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Hem Chand I/O PS Sadar, Shimla stated therein that on 21.09.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty when he reached at Slaughter House near bridge Lalpani Shimla and recovered 5 Boxes of Una No. 1 from the possession of Gurprit Singh S/o Sh. Dharam Singh R/o Shakuntla Niwas, Lower Panthaghati, Shimla-9. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand I/O PS Sadar, Shimla. 

2.    AN ACCIDENT : Case FIR No. 103/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain, Shimla  on 22.09.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Harish Kumar S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o VPO Jarol(Banshera), Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt Shimla, HP alleging therein that on dated 22.09.18 at 9.00 PM when he was at Gharewati village to attend the marriage there, he saw that on sh. Kuldeep Chauhan S/o Sh. Parshotam Lal R/o Village Kotidhar, PO Bhuti, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt Shimla started his  WagonR Car No. HP63-2888 and the car jumped out and rolled down from the road about 500 meter. In this accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Sushil Kumar I/O PS Kumarsain, Shimla.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: An information of accident has been received in the jurisdiction of PS Jubbal that today on 22.09.2018 at about 09-20 AM, a Trax No. HP02-0695, which was on the way towards Teoni from Sawada, met with an accident at Mugra near Snail (Jubbal). About 13 persons namely i) driver Anil Kumar R/o Kuddu, ii) Manoj Kumar R/o Chauri, iii) Matwar Singh R/o Nadla, iv) Basanti Devi R/o Nadla v) Manish R/o Village Nadla, vi) Attar Singh R/o Village Nadla, vii) Munna Devi R/o Nadla viii) Bittu Ram R/o Nadla, ix) Prem Singh R/o Dhara, ix) Poonam R/o Dhara xi) Bandi Devi R/o Dhara, xii) Nehar Singh R/o Dhara, xiii) Ridhima R/o Dhara, have been reported died.  

4.    A DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY ACT: Case FIR No. 88/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 22.09.2018 U/S 3 The Prevention to Damage Public Property Act on the statement of Sh. Madho Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Jai Singh R/o Village Kulgaon, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla A/P Posted as Peon in PHC Badiyara, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that  on the intervening night of 21/22.09.2018, some unknown person has broken the window glasses of Govt. Building PHC Badiyara. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram,I/O PS Chirgaon.  

5.  During  last 24 hours 191 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=127 fine realized Rs. 55,200/-, 17 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1700/- and 03 Challaned under Mining Act and fine realized Rs. 15,500/-.

FOLLOW UP:

1.    Accused Rahul @ Happy S/o Sh. Mulak Raj R/o Village & PO Gumma, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 26 years,arrested in case FiR No. 264/18 Dated 19.09.2018 U/S 21 NDPS Act at PS West Shimla, is remanded in Police Custody upto 24.09.2018, by the Ld Court.

2.   Accused Rahul Visht S/o Sh. Balam Singh R/o Swadesh Building, Lower Phagli Shimla-4, age 21 years, arrested in case FiR No. 265/18 Dated 19.09.2018 U/S 21 NDPS Act at PS West Shimla, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld Court.
