Crime Report on Sept. 10, 2018





  1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 126/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 10.09.2018 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Dharam Dass S/o Sh. Kewal R/o Village Munish PO Munish Bahli Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.09.2018 at about 07-45 PM, one Alto Car No. HP06A-9639 met with an accident near Jagdi due to rash and negligent driving of Padam Singh S/o Sh. Bahadur Singh R/o Village Munish PO Munish Bahali, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Ten Singh, I/O PP Taklech (Rampur).
  2. A UNLAWFUL GATHERING: Case FIR No. 185/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 10.09.2018 U/S 143, 341 IPC & 8 NH Act on the rukka of SI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that today on 10.09.2018, on the nationwide call of Bhatat Band, he alongwith staff was on law & order & traffic control duty at Theog Bazar. At about 01-00 PM, a group of 40/50 peoples under the leadership of Sh. Kapil Bhardwaj, Jagdish Sharma, Atma Ram, Sanjeev & others came from Rest House Theog by shouting slogans against the govt. on deflation & unemployment issue and blocked the National Highway-05 at Theog Bus Stand.  The case is being investigated by SI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS Theog.
  3. A UNLAWFUL GATHERING: Case FIR No. 253/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla today on 10.09.2018 U/S 341, 143 IPC on the rukka of ASI Keshav Chand, I/O PS Shimla West alleging therein that today on 10.09.2018, he alongwith staff was on law & order duty at Victory Tunnel Shimla. At about 12-45 PM, about 50/60 CITU workers under the leadership of Sh. Rakesh Singha-Hon’ble MLA Theog Constituency, Sh. Vijender Mehra, Balbir Prashar, Kishori Dhadwalia, Vinod Birsanta & other came to Victory Tunnel Shimla by shouting slogans against the State/Centre Govt. on deflation issue and blocked the  National Highway for 30 minutes. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand, I/O PS Shimla West.     
  4. During last 24 hours 130 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=83 fine realized Rs. 24,265/- and 04 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 500/-.
