Crime Report on Sept. 17,2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 31/18 has been registered at PS Kupvi today on 17.09.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act  on the rukka of SI Ravinder Lal, SHO PS Kupvi, Shimla alleging therein that today during patrolling alongwith staff, a raid has been conducted in the house of one lady R/o village Naura, PO Kulag, Tehsil Kupvi, Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor from her possession. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Kupvi, Shimla.  

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 190/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 16.09.2018 U/S 279 337 201 IPC on the statement of Kumari Santosh D/o Sh. Keshav Ram R/o Village Dodra, Tehsil Kwar, District Shimla A/P Bharat Niwas, near Plus Point, Engine Ghar, Sanajuli Shimla stated therein that on 16.09.2018 at about 06-45 PM, she was coming towards Sanjauli Chowk from Children Park on foot. When she reached near Laxmi Narayan Temple, at the same time a vehicle No. HP03D-2135 came rashly with negligent driving from Dhalli side and after hitting her run away from the spot, sustained injuries to her. The case is being investigated by HC Sohan Lal, I/O PP Sanjauli Shimla.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 100/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 17.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajinder S/o Sh. Amar Singh R/o Village & PO Kotgarh, Tehsil Kumarsain, District Shimla, age 20 years stated therein that on 16.09.2018, he alongwith his friends were going to Narkanda. At about 09-15 PM, when they reached near Batnal, they found that a vehicle No. HP62D-0699 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Rajan Chauhan. In this accident, two persons namely Rajan Chauhan & Dhanveer sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Mansa Ram, I/C PP Narkanda.

4.     During last 24 hours 351 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=176 fine realized Rs. 34,750/-, 25 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2500/- and 06 Challaned under Mining Act & fine Realized Rs. 67,000/-

FOLLOW UP:

1. Accused Sushank Shelly S/o Sh. Mohinder Shelly R/o Ward No.-1, Kalyanpur, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 27 years, arrested in case FIR No. 134/18 Dt. 15.09.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur, is remanded in police custody upto 19.09.2018, by the Ld. Court.
