Crime Report on September 04, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 177/18 has been registered PS Dhalli on 04.09.18 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Rajinder Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 04.09.2018 at about 10-00 PM, he along with staff was on patrolling towards Chhalanda. On the secret information, one person namely Aass Bahadur S/o Sh. Jog Bahadur R/o Village & PO Gehari gaon, Distt. Rukkam, Nepal, age 38 years intercepted by them near Green Valley and during the search, 3.860 Kg. Charas recovered from his possession The case is being investigated by ASI Rajinder Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli. 
2. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 178/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 04.09.18 U/S 20,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Inder Singh, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 03/04.09.2018 at about 12-50 AM, one vehicle No. HP24A-9169 along with four persons namely Lucky Bansal S/o Sh. Shambhu Ram R/o Sandhya Niwas, Cemetery Road, Sanjauli Shimla, age 20 years, Abhishek Mehta S/o Sh. Ashok Mehta R/o Trimurti Niwas, Lower Cemetery, Sanjauli, Shimla, age 19 years, Saurabh Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o Village Gyana PO Mangu Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan, age 19 years and Vineet Katoch S/o Sh. Rajender Katoch R/o Village Sai PO Kyara Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 19 years, stopped by them for checking near Dhalli Tunnel, Shimla. During the search, 109 gram Charas recovered from their possession. Above accused have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Inder Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.
3. A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 103/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 03.09.2018 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Baldev Singh, SHO PS Chopal, Shimla  alleging therein that during patrolling alongwith staff, 07 persons apprehended by them during playing gambling with cards in the forest near Lakarbir Temple and seized Rs. 35,610/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Chopal.
4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 179/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 03.09.2018 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kuldeep Singh Sandhu S/o Sh. Sardar Pyara Singh R/o House No. 1449, Sector-40B, Chandigarh, stated therein that on 03.09.2018, he along wth his family members was going towards Kuffri from Galu in his vehicle No. CH01AC-6182. At about 05-45 PM, as he reached at Lambidhar, at the same time one Pick-Up No. HP63-6182, driven by Jitender S/o Sh. Rajender Singh R/o Village Vehani, PO Cheog, Teshil Theog, Shimla came rashly with negligent driving and hit his vehicle.
5. AN ASSAULT ON GOVT. SERVANT DURING DISCHARGE HIS DUTY case FIR No. 28/18 dated 04-09-2018 u/s 353,332,504,189,34 IPC has been registered at PS Kupvi on the complaint of Roop Lal S/o Sh. Chamaru Ram working as Driver in HRTC Bus No. HP03B-6172 Tara Devi Shimla-1 alleging therein that on 02-09-2018 he was going on the route from Kupvi to Shimla and he was 15 minute late due to tyre penture. At around 09-50 AM  he reached at lower bazzar Kupvi at the same time one Pvt. Bus No. HP 85-0868 Shirgul transport reached there and the driver of above Pvt. Bus opened his driver side door started abusing him and closed it forcefully due to which he sustained injuries in his right hand finger. After that the son of owner of bus Vipul Thakur came out from the bus and scuffled with him, abusing him and threatened with dire consequences along with other local people. The case is being investigated by ASI Subhash Chand I.O PS Kupvi.
6. During last 24 hours 405 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=130 fine realized Rs. 45,500/- and 15 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,600/-.

1. Accused Aass Bahadur S/o Sh. Jog Bahadur R/o Village & PO Gehari gaon, Distt. Rukkam, Nepal, age 38 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 177/18 Dt. 04.09.18 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli is being produce before Ld. Court.
2. Accused i) Lucky Bansal S/o Sh. Shambhu Ram R/o Sandhya Niwas, Cemetery Road, Sanjauli Shimla, age 20 years, ii) Abhishek Mehta S/o Sh. Ashok Mehta R/o Trimurti Niwas, Lower Cemetery, Sanjauli, Shimla, age 19 years, iii) Saurabh Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o Village Gyana PO Mangu Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan, age 19 years and iv) Vineet Katoch S/o Sh. Rajender Katoch R/o Village Sai PO Kyara Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 19 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 178/18 Dt. 04.09.18 U/S 20, 29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli is being produce before Ld. Court.
3. Accused Brij Lal S/o Janku Ram R/o Vill. Thana PO Mandal Tehsil Jubbal Distt Shimla age 25 years arrested in case FIR No. 123/2018 dated 03-09-2018 u/s 379,411 IPC at PS Rohru remanded in Police Custody upto 06-09-2018.
