Crime Report on Sept. 29, 2018

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 144/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 29.09.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of Inspt. Ravinder Negi, SHO PS Rampur alleging therein that on 29.09.2018 at about 10-30 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Nirath near Baba Balak Nath Temple, two persons namely Ganesh @ Bhundar S/o Sh. Dhanpat R/o Village, PO & Tehsil Kalanaur, District Rohtak, Haryana, age 30 years and Rahul Kumar @ Sardar S/o Sh. Raj Kumar R/o House No. 5194, Arroriean, State Chotibaradri, Tehsil & District Patiala, Punjab, age 28 years, intercepted by them and recovered 132 Gram Chitta (Heroin) from their possession. The case is being investigated by Insp./SHO PS Rampur.   

2.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 142/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 28.09.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of Sh. Priyank Gupta, Dy. SP (Prob.) SHO PS Rampur alleging therein that on 28.09.2018 at 04.00 PM during retrroling with staff towards Dutt Nagar, a raid has been conducted in the dabha of one lady & recovered 09 Bottles of Country liquor from her possession. The case is being investigated by Sh. Priyank Gupta, Dy. SP (Prob.) SHO PS Rampur.

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 143/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 28.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on statement of Sh. Hem Raj S/o Sh. Ami Chand R/o Village Shavagi, PO Barshag, Tehsil Karsog, District Mandi, alleging therein that on 28.09.2018 at about 07-30 PM, one Auto No. HP50-0646 met with an accident at Khopri near Rampur due to rash & negligent driving of Devinder Singh S/o Sh. Hans Raj R/o Village Khopri, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla. In this accident, two persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Hukkam Lal, I/O PP City Rampur.

4.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 196/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 29.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Smt. Kaushlya Devi W/o Sh. Nikkam Singh R/o Village Gadla, PO Dharampur, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that one vehicle No. HP63-2050 driven by Lalit Kumar R/o Village Galtu, PO Dharampur, Theog, Shimla came rashly with negligent driving and hit her, sustained injuries to her.

5.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 106/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 29.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Surender Kumar Gupta S/o Lt. Sh. Faquir Chand Gupta R/o Village & PO Badagaon, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla, age 67 years stated therein that on 29.09.2018 at 09-40 AM, he parked his vehicle No. HP06A-1739 (Alto K-10) on roadside at Kotgarh Bus Stand. At the same time, one Private Bus No. HP63-3187 (Kalta Coach) came rashly with negligent driving and hit his vehicle and a person namely Gagan Chauhan R/o Village & PO Khanati, Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh, I/O PS Kumarsain.

6.     ACT ENDANGERING LIFE OR PERSONAL SAFETY OF OTHERS : Case FIR No. 199/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 28.09.2018 U/S 336 337 IPC in which  complainant alleged that on 28.09.2018 at about 12-30 PM, she alongwith her neighbourer was going to Secrat Heart School to bring their children. The Forest Department’s employees were cutting the trees on Four lane’s Land near her Building.  As she reached on the veranda of her house, suddenly one tree fell down on the wire and after broken, wire turned to her face, sustained injuries to her. This incident caused due to negligent work of employees of The Forest Department. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder, I/O PS Dhalli.

7.     During  last 24 hours 288 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 140,  fine realized Rs. 79,400/- and 27 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3300/-.

1.    Accused i) Sandeep S/o Sh. Ganga Dutt Sharma R/O Village Shigoti, PO Shilaroo, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla age 32 years &  ii) Naveen S/O Sh. Deep Ram R/O Village Kajiwal, PO Shilaroo, Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla, age 24 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 267/18 Dt. 24.09.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS West, are being produced before Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Vipul Thakur S/o Sh. Chattar Singh Thakur R/o Village & PO Masali, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 197/18 Dt. 26.09.2018 U/S 21, 25 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is being produced before Ld. Court today.

3.    Accused Guman Bahadur S/O Sh. Atti Ram R/o village Dhor Chair, Po. Gaon Palika, Ward No.1 Distt. Salyan, Country Nepal age 38 years A/P R/O Hari Nagar Shimla arrested in case Fir No. 71/18 Dt. 26.09.18 U/S 382 IPC at PS West, is being produced before Ld. Court today.

4.     Accused Sahab Nath S/o Sh. Udhmi Nath R/o Village Rangmahal Tehsil & PS Sooratgarh District Gangasagar, Rajasthan, age 27 years and Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Ramesh Chand R/o Village & Tehsil Alnabad, District Sirsa, Haryana, age 18 years, arrested in case FIR No. 195/18 Dt. 27.09.2018 U/S 420 468 471 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 01.10.2018, by the Ld. Court.

5.    Accused Susheel Kumar S/o Sh. Bhagat Chand R/o Village Kitterwari, PO Kwar, Tehsil Dodra-Kwar, District Shimla, age 31 years, arrested in case FIR No. 89/18 Dt. 25.09.2018 U/S 376 452 506 IPC at PS Chirgaon,  is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court today.
