Crime Report on Sept. 24, 2018

1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 267/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 24.09.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS West Shimla alleging therein that today on 24.09.2018, during nakabandi alongwith staff at Shoghi, one Truck No. HP62C-0485 alongwith driver namely Sandeep S/o Sh. Ganga Dutt Sharma R/O Village Shigoti, PO Shilaroo, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla age 32 years &  Naveen S/O Sh. Deep Ram R/O Village Kajiwal, PO Shilaroo, Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla, age 24 years stopped by them for checking. During the search, 99 gram Chitta recovered  from  their possession. The Case is being investigated by  ASI Dev Raj  IO PS West.

2.    AN UNLAWFUL GATHERING: Case FIR No. 268/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 24.09.2018 U/S 341 143 IPC on the rukka of ASI Devi Ram, I/C PP Jutogh, Shimla alleging therein that today on 24.09.2018 at about 10-30 AM, about 100 members/workers of Shimla Rural Constituency under the leadership of Sh. Vikrmaditya Singh – Hon’ble MLA, Sh. Gopal Sharma, Sh. Diwakar Dutt Sharma, Sh. Amit Kohli, Vinu Mehta & others assembled near Truck Union near Totu and came towards Totu in the shape of procession and blocked the National Highway for 20 minutes at Totu Chowk in protest against cancelation  the notification of opening of Degree College at Poabo, GP Chanog. They have shouted slogans against the State Govt. and burnt the effigy of Hon’ble Education Minister of HP. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh, I/O PP Jutogh, Shimla.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 49/18 has been registered at PS Nankhari today on 24.09.2018 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Joginder Singh Thakur R/o Village Dunidhar PO Ratnari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that one car No. HP09C-2763 met with an accident near Sidhpur (Tanki Nalah) due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Sher Singh Thakur S/o Sh. Gopu Ram R/o Village Dunidhar, PO Ratnari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla. In this accident, Sher Singh died on the way to hospital. The case is being investigated by HC Devinder Nath, I/O PS Nankhari.   

4.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 194/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 24.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement Sh. Varun Kumar S/o Sh. Shishi Ram R/o Village Thach, PO Neugalsari, Tehsil Nichar, District Kinnaur alleging therein that he alongwith four other persons was going to his home at Kinnaur in vehicle No. HP52(T)-3960. As they reached at Jagedi near Nangal Devi, at the same time another vehicle No. HP09A-4424 (Maruti 800) came rashly with negligent driving and hit with their Bolero Camper, sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay Kumar, I/O PS Theog.

5.    During  last 24 hours 87 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 52,  fine realized Rs. 14,000/- and 15 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1500/-.

1.    Accused Rahul @ Happy S/o Sh. Mulak Raj R/o Village & PO Gumma, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 26 years,arrested in case FiR No. 264/18 Dated 19.09.2018 U/S 21 NDPS Act at PS West Shimla, is remanded in Police Custody upto 24.09.2018, by the Ld Court.

2.  Accused i) Sandeep S/o Sh. Ganga Dutt Sharma R/O Village Shigoti, PO Shilaroo, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla age 32 years &  ii) Naveen S/O Sh. Deep Ram R/O Village Kajiwal, PO Shilaroo, Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla, age 24 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 267/18 Dt. 24.09.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS West are remanded in police custody upto 27.09.2018 by the Ld. Court.

3.    Accused Rahul S/o Lt. Sh. Gulab Singh R/o Village Dochi, PO Nerwa, Tehsil Nerwa, District Shimla, age 19 years, arrested in case FIR No. 111/18 Dt. 18.09.2018 U/S 379 IPC at PS East, is being produced before Ld. Court.
