Crime Report on August, 31, 2019

1.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 198/19 has been has been registered at PS West Shimla 30.08.19 U/S 20 29 ND&PS Act on the ruka of ASI Roshan Lal I/C PP Shoghi alleged therein that on 30.08.2019 he along with staff was on traffic checking duty at Khwara chowki. During checking they stopped a Motorcycle No.PB65AU-3160 and recovered 1 Kg 218 Gram Charas from the possession of  both motorcycle rider namely Balkar S/O Sh Pale Ram R/O Jijar Nagar Gali No.1 Mohali and Manjeet Singh S/O Sh Joginder Singh R/O Jijar Nagar Gali No.1 Mohali. Case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal I/C PP Shoghi.

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.185/19 U/S 39 Excise Act has been registered at PS Sadar on 30.08.2019 on the rukka of ASI Prakash I/o PS Sadar alleged therein that on 30.08.2019 during patrolling duty along with staff at Krishna Nagar (Lov-Kush) Chowk he recovered 24 bottles of country Liquor and 09 bottles of English Liquor from the possession of Balbir Singh @Gulli S/o Sh Resham R/o Labour Hostel, Krishna Nagar Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Prakash I/o PS Sadar.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 56/19 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 30.08.2019  U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Amar Nath alleging therein that on 30.08.2019 a pickup No. HP 62 3214 Met with an accident in which driver Inder sustained injuries and Mohar Singh died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Amarnath I/o PS Nerwa.

4.    A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 99/19 has been registered at PS East on 30.08.2019 U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 427 506 IPC on the complaint of  Rajan Saghal registrar AP Goyal University alleging therein that on 30.08.2019 some students of AP Goyal University quarreled and beaten each other brutally. The case is being investigated by I/o PS East.  

5.    During last 24 hours 77 Challan without seat belt, 02 challan Drunken driving, 30 without helmet, 25 without Driving Licence, Nil using mobile phone, 26 person's challaned under Smoking Act.

Follow-Up

1.    Accused Balkar S/O Sh Pale Ram R/O Jijar Nagar Gali No. 1 Mohali and (ii) Manjeet Singh S/O Sh Joginder Singh R/O Jijar Nagar Gali No. 1 Mohali arrested in case FIR No. 198/19 dated 30.08.2019 at PS West Shimla 30.08.19 U/S 20 29 ND&PS Act are being produced before ld court today.
