Crime Report on August 17, 2019

1.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 116/19 has been registered at PS Rampur on 16.08.2019 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Parshotam Chand  I/O PS Rampur alleged therein that on 16.08.2019 during patrolling duty at Duttnagar he recovered 07 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Pawan S/o Sh Dil  Bahadur VPO Duttnagar Tehsi Rampur Distt Shimla HP. The Case is being investigating by ASI Parshotam.

2.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 169/19 has been registered at PS Sadar on 17.08.2019 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 185 MV Act on the statement of Sh Ankush Kumar S/o Sh Rakesh Kumar R/o Block No. 2 Room No. 28 Cecil Hotel Shimla alleging therein that on 17.08.2019 a vehicle No. DL 10 CJ 1847 met with an accident at Tarahall in which two person’s sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by I/o PS Sadar.

3.   A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 152/19 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 16.08.19 U/S 21 29 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sushil I/O SIU Shimla alleged therein that on 16.08.19 he along with staff was on patrolling duty, on secret information they recovered 6.60 gram chitta/Heroin from the possession of Ashish Chandel S/O Sh Basant Singh R/O Himral Niwas Ground floor lower cemetery Shimla, Hemant Kumar S/O Uma Nand  R/O Village Aahar PO Janjehali Kumarsain Shimla, Nitesh Thakur S/O Chaman Lal R/O Koti PO Nankhari Shimla, Aditya Mehta S/O Deshraj R/O Village Karoli PO Khamadi Rampur, Sushant Sharma S/O Jagatpal R/O Village Chamyara PO Sikroha Sadar Bilaspur and Neeraj Kumar S/O Shyam Chand R/O VPO Bahli Rampur Shimla. Case is being investigating by ASI Suraj I/O PS Dhalli.   

4.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 151/19 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 16.08.2019 U/S 279, 337 IPC on  the statement of Mr Pankaj Chauhan S/O Mast Ram Chauhan R/o village Bhog PO Kokunala Teh Kotkhai District Shimla alleged therein that on 17.08.2019 a vehicle No UP15DT-4211 came rashly and negligently from Dhalli side and collided with another vehicle bearing No HR45C 1700. In this collision two of his workers sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by I/o PS Dhalli.

5.    A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST BY CARRIER: Case FIR No. 185/19 has been registered at PS West on 17.08.2019 U/S 407 IPC on the statement of Sh Anil Kumar Sharma S/o Sh Prem Chand Sharma R/o Taksh Enterprises SCF 1 A Sector Parwanoo District Solan alleging therein that on 09.08.2019 he has given an amount of Rs 9, 65, 000 to a truck driver Naresh Kumar owner HP 51A 1343 to deposit in his shop but he did not deposit  there and also not returned back to him. The case is being investigated by I/o PS West.

6.   A Cheating: Case FIR No. 186 has been registered at PS West on 17.08.2019 U/S 420, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh Arjun Dev Grover S/o Late Sh Veer Bhan R/o Grover Building New Totu Shimla HP A/P House No. 63 Sector 1 main road New Shimla Himachal Pradesh alleging therein that he is co-partner of Khasra No. 219, 220, 223, 225, 218 but some unknown person done his signature and divided his land without his consent. The case is being investigated by SI Ramesh Kumar I/C PP Jatog.

7.   During last 24 hours 38 challan without seat belt, 01 challan Drunken driving, 18 without helmet, 19 without Driving Licence, 04 using mobile phone, Nil rash driving, 10 person's challaned under Smoking Act.

Accused (i) Ashish Chandel S/O Sh Basant Singh R/O Himral Niwas Ground floor lower cemetery Shimla, (ii)  Hemant Kumar S/O Uma Nand  R/O Village Aahar PO Janjehali Kumarsain Shimla, (iii) Nitesh Thakur S/O Chaman Lal R/O Koti PO Nankhari Shimla, (iv) Aditya Mehta S/O Deshraj R/O Village Karoli PO Khamadi Rampur, (v) Sushant Sharma S/O Jagatpal R/O Village Chamyara PO Sikroha Sadar Bilaspur and (vi) Neeraj Kumar S/O Shyam Chand R/O VPO Bahli Rampur Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No.152/19 u/s 21 29 ND&PS Act  at PS Dhalli are being produced before Ld court today.
