Crime Report on August, 20, 2019

1.      Accident :  Case FIR No. 190/19 has been registered at PS West today on 20.08.2019 U/S 279, 337 IPC & Sec. 187 of MV Act on the statement of Sh. Om Prakash S/o Sh. Sunder Singh R/o Village Behri, PO Luhri, Tehsil Ani, Distt Kullu, HP stated therein that today early morning at 03.50 AM he was going to Panchkula in his Pick UP NO. HP35-4291 loaded apple boxes as he reached near Khwara Chowki another Pick up No. PB13Z-7791 come rashly and hit his above pickup and ran away towards Shimla from the spot. This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of the above pickup driver. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/C PP Shoghi, PS west, Shimla.  

2.      Accident :  Case FIR No. 47/19 has been registered at PS Nankhari today on 20.08.2019 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 304 A IPC on the statement of Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Jwala Dass R/o VPO Lalain, Tehsil Nankhari,Distt Shimla, HP alleging therein that on 19.08.2019 he alongwith driver Nihal  was going to his village lalain in his pickup No. HP06A-5204 as they reached  Bhata Nal. The driver lost his control over the vehicle and rolled down from the road. The  case is being investigated by HC Lal Chand I/O PS Nankhari.

3.      During last 24 hours 46 vehicles were challaned without Seatbelt, 11 without helmet, 16 without driving License, 05 challaned under drunken driving, 0 using mobile phone and  23 persons challaned under Smoking Act.
