Press Note on May 30, 2018 (MORNING)

1.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 110/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 29.05.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Narender Kumar, I/O SIU District Shimla alleging therein that on 29.05.2019 at about 04-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff a person namely Ajeet S/o Lt. Sh. Misri Rai R/o Maha Himalya Shiv Colony, Down-Dale Phagli, Shimla, age 29 years, intercepted by them at Down-Dale Kusht Colony, Shimla and during the search, 1.70 gram Heroin (Chitta) recovered from his possession.

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 111/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 30.05.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Prakash Chand, I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 29/30.05.2019 at about 03-00 AM, one Maruti Car No. HP14A-2240, which was on the way towards Lift from Old Bus Stand Shimla, stopped by them for checking at Ghoda Hospital, Shimla. During the search, 84 Bottles of Country & 24 Bottles of English liquor have been recovered from the above vehicle under the possession of driver Gurpreet Singh S/o Sh. Dharm Singh R/o Kalra Niwas, Shakrala, Mehli, Shimla, age 47 years. The case is being investigated by ASI Prakash Chand, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 79/19 has been registered at PS Rampur on 29.05.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kesar Singh S/o Sh. Niraj Dass R/o Village Karali PO Dansa Tehsil Rampur District Shimla alleging therein that on 29.05.2019 at about 06-30 PM, a Car No. HR03F-5347 driven by Vinod S/o Sh. Dinesh R/o Village & PO Dhargaura, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla came rashly with negligent driving and hit his Motorcycle No. HP06A-1946 on National Highway near HS Khaneri, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh, I/O PS Rampur.

4.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 122/19 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 29.05.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act  on the statement of Sh. Yogesh Sharma S/o Sh. Jiva Nand Sharma R/o Village Charkhadi, PO Presee, Tehsil Sundernagar District Mandi alleging therein that on 29.05.2019 at about 04-40 PM, he alongwith his wife was coming to Shimla in his Motorcycle No. HP31A-6330. As they reached near Ghannahatti, one Alto Car No. HP63-8747 came rashly with negligent driving in wrong direction and after hitting his motorcycle run away from the spot. In this accident, he alongwith his wife sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram, I/C PP Jutogh, Shimla.

5.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 123/19 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 29.05.2019 U/S 279 IPC & 3 Prevention to Damage Public Property Act on the statement of Sh. Rahul Kumar Singh S/o Sh. Ram Chander Singh R/o Village & PO Gahmar Tehsil Jamnia District Gajipur, UP A/P Driver in Army Ambulance No. 08K008911 MH Jutogh, Shimla stated therein that on 29.05.2019 at about 09-15 PM, he alongwith Dheeraj Kumar was coming to Military Dental Centre ARTRAC from Jutogh by driving above ambulance. As he reached near Totu, at the same time one Pick-UP No. HP30-3912 came rashly with negligent driving and after hitting his ambulance from rear side, hit with electricity poll. Due to hitting, electricity poll has been broken. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan Kumar, I/O PS West Shimla.
