Crime Report on May 27, 2019 (Evening)

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 86/19 has been registered at PS Theog on 24.05.2019 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Madan Singh S/o  Sh. Prem Lal R/o Village Rachot, PO Deha, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, age 40 years stated therein that today on 27.05.2019 at about 02-30 AM, one Pick-UP No. HP62-4414, which was on the way towards Godhra from Solan, met with an accident at Dahar Nalah and rolled down 300 feet from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Sunil Chand S/o Sh. Kamal Singh R/o Village Godhar PO Deha Tehsil Theog District Shimla. In this accident,  two persons namely Sunil Chand (driver) & Hari Prasad died on the spot and one person namely Som Prakash sustained injuries.
2. During last 24 hours 156 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 109 and  19 persons challaned under Smoking Act.
