Crime Report on May 26, 2019

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 85/19 has been registered at PS Theog today on 26.05.2019 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhagat Ram S/o Sh. Baru Ram R/o Village & PO Dhar, Tehsil Kupvi District Shimla, age 50 years alleging therein that on 26.05.2019 at about 06-00 AM,  he was coming to Shimla from Nerwa in vehicle No. HP33D-6066 (KUV) of Sh. Dinesh Kumar Kashyap A/P SDO in HP PWD Department at Nerwa. When they reached near Janog, suddenly one child came on the road. As Dinesh Kumar turned the vehicle to save the child, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down 70 feet from the road. In this accident, Dinesh Kumar Kashyap died on the spot.
2. During last 24 hours 526 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 310 and  26 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

FOLLOW-UP

1. Accused Karam Singh s/o Sh. Bala Ram R/o village Ganiya, PO Peeran, Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla, age 50 years arrested in case FIR No. 62/19 Dt. 12.04.2019 U/S 18 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli. He will be produced before the Ld. Court tomorrow.
