Crime Report on May 24th 2019 (Evening)

PRESS NOTE ON 24.05.2019 (EVENING)

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 57/19 has been registered at PS Chopal on 24.05.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Kirpa Ram R/o Village Charach PO Dhabhas Tehsil Nerwa District Shimla alleging therein that today on 24.05.2019, one Bolero Camper No. HP63-7053 met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Yashwant S/o Sh. Padma Ram R/o Village & PO Dhabhas Tehsil Chopal District Shimla. In this accident, driver Yashwant sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/O PS Chopal.
2. During last 24 hours 408 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compouded = 156 and  18 persons challaned under Smoking Act. 

FOLLOW-UP:

1. Accused Chet Ram S/o Sh. Devi Ram R/o Village Bharmana, PO Tharoch, Tehsil Nerwa, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 35/19 Dt. 23.05.2019 U/S 18 ND&PS Act IPC at PS Nerwa, is remanded in police custody upto 25.05.2019, by the Ld. Court.
