A Gambling Act case FIR No 110/16 has been regisrered at PS Rohru on 21.10.2016 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act on the Rukka of ASI Bal Raj I/O PS Rohru alleging therein that intervening night of 20-21/10/2016 when ASI Bal Raj was on patrolling alongwith staff near Bus Stand Rohru, at about 04.00 AM he got an information that some persons were playing cards in Prakash Building Near ICICI Bank Rohru. On this information ASI Bal Raj raided the spot and found seven persons namely Jagat Ram S/O Sh. Sanam Ram R/O Village Bhaloon PO Sungri Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP, Sanjeev S/O Late Sh. Parmeshwar Dass R/O VPO Jagothi Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP, Sanjeev Kumar S/O Sh. Shiv Ram R/O Village Bhamnoli PO Summerkot Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP, Pawan Kumar S/O Sh. Jeraman R/O Village Khashkandi Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP, Bal Krishan Sharma S/O Sh. Gulat Ram R/O VPO Sharontha Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP, Sunil Zinta S/O Sh. Shiv Singh Zinta R/O Syao PO Pujarli No. 4 Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP, Virender Singh S/O Sh. Mahender Singh R/O Village Sazar PO Pujarli No. 4 Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP were playing cards as a purpose of gambling and recovered Rs 81070/- cash from the spot . The case is being investigated by ASI Bal Raj I/O PS Rohru.
An Excise Act Case FIR No 208/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 20.10.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Subash Shastri I/O PS Dhalli alleging therein that during patrolling along with staff at Shilru he recovered 36 bottles of country Liquor from the possession of Sonu Ram S/o Sh Tulsi Ram village Shilli P/o Kufri Tehsil Padar Distt Mandi. The case is being investigated by ASI Subash Shastri I/O PS Dhalli.
A Murder case FIR No. 206/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 21.10.2016 U/S 302,201,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kuldeep Singh S/O Sh. Vijay Singh R/o Village Addu PO Danawali Sub-Tehsil Nankhari Distt Shimla alleging therein that his father Vijay Kumar resided alone at Kanni (Dogri) which is nearby his home Jadwala. His father often went to Dogri for the care of crops. One Nepali Person namely Karan Bahadur alongwith his family was also resided nearby his field/Dogri, who have animus with his father. His father did not come back to home since 17.10.16. On 20.10.2016, Chaman Lal told him that dead body if his father is lying nearby his dogri. He came to know that the family of Karan Bhadur has also been left from above place since 18-10-16. He doubts that Karan Bahadur alongwith his family members have murdered his father and concealed his dead body in the bushes.
A Cheating case FIR No 62/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 20.10.2016 U/S 406,420 IPC on the Complainant of Sh Bal Krishan Rawat S/o Late Sh Kewal Ram R/o village Khoni P/o Hatkoti Tehsil Jubbal Distt.Shimla alleging therein that a person namely Mahender Singh Sharma S/o Sh Uttam Singh R/o village Shekhal P/o Pujarli No 4 Tehsil Rohru Distt Shimla demanded Rs 7,00,000/- from the complainant and promised to return back the same within couple of month but the accused did not retun the amount to the complainant .The case is being Investigated by I/C PP Sarswati Nagar.
An Accident case FIR No 205/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 20.10.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the Statement of Sh Prem Singh S/O Sh Karam Dass R/O Village Bhadrash PO Duttnagar Tehsil Rampur Bsr Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 20.10.16 at about 06.30 PM when he along with Pritam Singh Chauhan was at Duttnagar on NH-05 suddenly one Motor car No HP33-6064 came rashly from Nirath side and hit Pritam Singh Chauhan and he sustained injuries .This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of the driver Aakash R/O Mandi. The case is being investigated by I/O PS Rampur.
During last 24 hours 382 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 133 & fine realized Rs. 46,800/- 60 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,900/-
Fire Incident
A Minor Fire Incident case took place at the Kitchen of Cancer Hospital at IGMC at around 8:45 AM due to Leakage in gas cylinder no loss of any life or property occurred .

Accused Vivek Gupta S/O Lt. Kailash Chand Gupta R/O Gupta Niwas New Totu Power House Shimla arrested in Case FIR No. 251/16 U/S 341,323 and 506 IPC dated 18.10.16 at PS West released on bail by Ld Court
