Crime Report on Oct. 31, 2016

1.    An Accident case FIR No. 106/16 has been registered at PS East on 30.10.2016 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Manpreet Singh S/o Sh. Amir Singh R/o Vyas Bhawan, Kainth Estate Below Agriculture Land, Phagali, Shimla, age 21 years stated therein that on 30.10.2016, he alongwith his friend namely Ishan Sharma S/o Sh. Arun Kumar Sharma was going towards Chhota Shimla from Sanjauli in his vehicle No. HP-62-3977(I-20). At about 06-45 PM, when he reached near Raj Bhavan Bifurcation, at the same time a Motorcycle No. HP-33C-0978 driven by Pravesh Kumar, came rashly in wrong direction and hit with his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to Motorcycle rider Pravesh, The case is being investigated by HC Parul Nainta, I/O PS East.

2.    An Accident case FIR No. 103/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 30.10.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Smt. Sunder Kumari D/O Lt. Sh. Kunga Nopru R/O village & PO Pooh Tehsil Pooh Distt. Kinnaur HP age 46 years stated therein that on 30.10.2016, she alongwith her sister was going towards Solan from Pooh in her vechile. At about 03-00 PM when she reached at Army Camp Jhakri, at the same time, a vehicle No. HP-06A-7593 driven by Sunil Dutt. S/O Sh. Madan Singh R/O vill. Kushwa Tehsil Nirmond Distt. Kullu came rashly towards Jhakri in wrong direction & collide with her vechile, caused sustained injuries to her. The case is being investigating by DC Suresh Kumar no 141 I/O PS jhakri.

3.    An Accident case FIR No 212/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 31.10.2016 U/S 279,337 on the rukka of HC Narjeev I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 31.10.2016, at about 01.26 AM one Motorcycle No. HP-34-1684 (Discover) on the way towards Dutt Nagar from Rampur, met with an accident near Nogli due to rash & negligent driving of Sanjay & rolled down 20 feet from the road, caused sustained injuries to two persons namely Sanjay & Jai Prakash.   The case is being investigated by HC Narjeev NO 1673 I/O PS Rampur Bsr.

4.    An Affray case FIR No. 130/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 30.10.2016 U/S 160 IPC on the rukka of L/HC Sita I/O PS Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that five persons namely Sunil. Sahil, Akhil, Ganesh & Dinesh all are the villagers of Madhwani and Oddi quarreling with each other & create nuisance in a public place at Oddi and disturb the Public peace and commit an affray and got sustained injuries the name of injured persons. Case is being investigated by LHC Sita, I/O PS Kumarsain.

5.    During last 24 hours 112 (Incl. 01 Challan of pressure Horn) vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 43 & fine realized Rs. 14,000/- & 24  persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,400/-.

Fire Incident

During the intervening night of 30/31.10.2016 at about 12-30 AM, a fire incident took place in the residential quarter of  Sh. Sunil Kumar A/P GM in Suryakanta Hydro Project Nanti Quarter No. 23 Type-3 SJVNL Colony Jeori due to electric short circuit. Due to fire house hold articles i.e. Bedbox, Laptop, Fridge, Washing Machine, Almirah, TV etc. amounting to Rs. 5 lacs have totally destroyed.

Follow Up

1.    Accused Madan Lal @ Chintu S/o Sh. Rattan Chand R/o VPO Kangal Tehsil Kumarsain age 23 years has been arrested in case FIR No.199/16 dated 15.10.2016 u/s 363,366A,376 IPC & 4 of POCSO Act at PS Rampur is on Police remand upto 01.11.2016.
