An Accident case FIR No. 77/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 09.10.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Guljar Mohd. S/o Sh. Latif Mohd. R/o Village Ghunda, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 08.10.2016, his driver Deepak S/o Sh. Prem Dass R/o Village Chidowali, Raipur Road, Dehradoon was coming from Kablog in Truck No. HP-62B-2184, met with an accident near Banol Nala due to his rash & negligent driving. In this accident two persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.
An Accident case FIR No. 316/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 09.10.2016 U/S 279 337 IPC & 185 MV Act on the statement of Smt. Durga Nepali W/O Sh. Prakash Nepali R/O VPO Dehlik Nepal C/O Hari Das Bldg., Near Priti Hotel Below Old Bus Stand, Shimla, alleging therein that on dated 9.10.16 at 8.30 PM when she was coming towards Old Bus Stand Shimla to look her son Sandeep, meanwhile a veh. NO. HP 34A-0423 silver colour come rashly and hit her and ran away from the spot towards Victory Tunnel. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohinder Singh I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.
An Accident case FIR No. 106/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 09.10.2016 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Smt. Padma Dassi W/o Sh. Swaru Mal R/o Mehra PO Kansakoti Distt. Shimla, HP, age 55 years stated therein that on 09.10.2016, she alongwith her sister namely Dharm Dassi was going towards Jakhar in Pick-up No. HP-63-3563, driven by Mohan Singh @ Pappu R/o Village Balsa. At about 04-45 PM, when they reached near village Balsa above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Mohan Sigh & rolled down from the road. In this accident driver Mohan Singh died on the spot and they sustained injuires. The case is being investigated by SI Mohan Singh, I/O PS Rohru.
Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No. 200/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 09.10.2016 U/S 336,337 IPC on the application of Dr. Bhushan Lal S/o Sh. Chaman Lal R/o Set No. 31, Block No. 3, US Club, Shimla stated therein that on 09.10.2016 at about 07-15PM, he alongwith Sachin was going to home at US Club from IGMC Shimla in his vehicle. On the way his vehicle fell down on the Deck which was constructed in hazardous manner by the owner of Car Washing centre, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Paramjeet Singh, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla.
Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No. 315/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 09.10.2016 U/S 279 336 IPC, 185 MV Act & 12(2) SRU Act on the statement of Sh. Vishal Gupta S/o Sh. Ram Gopal Gupta R/o Saint Mark Church Building, Room No. 2 near Kalibari Shimla stated therein that on 09.10.2016, when he was present in his shop, he saw that an Alto Car No. HP-03D-1039 driven by Nagesh Dogra S/o Sh. Kuldeep Chand Dogra R/o Public Choice Shop at Sanjauli Shimla came rashly from AG Chowk to CTO, who was in drunken condition. He was driving the car negligently & was creating endangering life to the public/tourists walking on The Mall Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Nazir Ahmad I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.
A Trespass case FIR No. 57/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 10.10.2016 U/S 447 427 504 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dharam Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Daleep Singh R/o Sundi PO & Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla stated therein that on 07.10.2016, one Goverdhan Singh R/o Village Sundli, Tehsil Jubbal trespassed in his land Khasra No. 572, 573, 574, abused him and damaged his property. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal.
During last 24 hours 207 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 94 & fine realized Rs. 20,800/- & 73 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 7,250/-.
Inquest Report
Deceased Sohan Singh S/o Sh. Hari Singh R/o Village Kuri, PO Tharoch, Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla, age about 45 years went to the shop at Kutah on 09.10.2016. Today at about 09-00 AM, his deadbody found on the path leading to Guhar in the jurisdiction of PS Nerwa. During inquiry it appears that deceased died due to slip on the path. After autopsy at CH Nerwa, deadbody of deceased handed over to his relative for cremation.
