1. A Gambling Act case FIR No. 183/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 26-10-2016 u/s 3,4 Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Rajinder Singh I.O PS Theog alleging therein that on 26-10-2016 on the secret information he alongwith staff raided the house of Madan Lal S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Vill Bagain P.O. Jais Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla and found that 06 persons were playing gambling with cards and recovered 13,500/- on the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Rajinder Singh PS Theog.
2. A Gambling Act case FIR No. 65/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 26-10-2016 u/s 13-3-67 Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Yudhishter I.O PS Jubbal alleging therein that on 26-10-2016 when he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Dagrouth tekri he intercepted 05 persons who were playing gambling with cards and recovered 1,57,000/- on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Yudhister Singh I.O PS Jubbal.
3. A Rioting case FIR No. 262/16 has been registered at PS West today on 27.10.16 U/S 341,147,148,149,323,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ravinder Singh S/o Sh. Chuhad Singh Vill Uhaldhar PO Diyot Tehsil Multhan Distt. Kangra alleging therein that today morning when he alongwith his friends Ravinder Singh, Ajay and Jagdev was going towards HPU library at the same time Amit Thakur, Pradeep, Vishva Bandhu, Ankit Jamwal and others workers of ABVP obstructed their way, attacked on them and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Ashwani Kumar I.O PP Summerhill.
4. A Wrongful restraint case FIR No. 263/16 has been registered at PS West today on 27-10-2016 u/s 341,323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Naveen Kumar S/o Sh. Kandi Ram R/o ward No. 6 near PS Rajgarh Tehsil and Distt. Sirmour alleging therein that today when he was going towards HPU Campus at the same time Prem Jaswal, Kewal, Ravinder workers of SFI obstructed his way and beaten him. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar I.O PP Summerhill.
5. An Accident case FIR No 127/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 27-10-2016 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh Vinod negi S/o Sh Jiya Lal R/o VPO kangal Tehsil Kumarsain A/P Vice Pardhan Kangal alleging therein that today at about 10-30 AM One Maruti Car bearing No HP63A -0262 Coming towards Kotighat to Kumarsain met with an accident near Sodanu Nalla due to rash and negligent driving of driver Sh. Khem Singh and rolled down 900 mtr from the road. In this accident. and Rolled down 900 mtr from the road in a dhank . In this accident two Persons namely 1. Khem Singh S/oSh Durga Singh R/o Vill Udder PO Kotighat Tehsil Kumarsain Age 50 years, 2. Laiq Ram S/o Sh Sita Ram R/o Vill Deem PO Kotighat Tehsil Kumarsain Age 52 years died on the spot and Tek Singh S/o Khayali ram R/o Vill Udder PO Kotighat Tehsil Kumarsain Age 53 Years died on the way to hospital.
6. An Accident case FIR No. 261/16 has been registered at PS West on 26-10-2016 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Surdeshan Kumar Thakur S/o Sh. Sita Ram Thakur R/o Thakur Niwas Lower Phagli Tehsil and Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 26-10-2016 he was on evening walk alongwith his dog at the same time on vehicle No. HP03D-2781 came rashly and negligently towards ISBT Tutikandi and hit him. In this accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Man Singh I.O PS West.
7. During last 24 hours 371 (10 Challan pressure Horn) vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 184 & fine realized Rs. 59,100/-. 86 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5900/-.

1. Mohd. Yusuf S/o Mohd. Yaseen R/o Mugla Shah Colony Nazibabad UP age 42 years arrested on 23.10.2016 in case FIR No. 81/16 on 27.08.2016 U/S 407, 120B IPC at PS Rohru is on Police remand upto 30-10-2016
2. Ram Singh S/o Salig Ram R/o Vill Chalali P.O. Jaon Tehsil Aani, Distt. Kullu, HP has been arrested in case FIR No. 126/16 dated 25-10-2016 u/s 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain is on Police remand upto 28-10-2016.
3. Madan Lal @ Chintu S/o Sh. Rattan Chand R/o VPO Kangal Tehsil Kumarsain age 23 years has been arrested in case FIR No.199/16 dated 15-10-2016 u/s 363,366A,376 IPC & 4 of POCSO Act at PS Rampur is on Police remand upto 01-11-2016.

Una age 21 years. 3) Nekraj S/o Hem Raj Vill Drovad P.O. Kedi Tehsil and Distt. Chamba. 4) Aashish Kumar S/o Kamlesh Kumar Vill Beed PO Gahar Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt Mandi age 23 years. 5) Naveen Kumar S/o Sh. Kanti Ram R/o ward No. 6 Rajgarh Distt Sirmour age 22 years. 6) Pradeep Kumar S/o Sh. Mangat Ram R/o Sharma Niwas near Satyam Paradise Hotel Kachhi Ghati Shimla age 23 Years has been arrested in case FIR No. 262/16 dated 27-10-2016 u/s 341,147,148,149,323,506 IPC at PS west and will be produced in the court tomorrow.
