Crime Report on February 29,2016

1. An Accident case FIR No 30/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 28.02.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement Of Sh .Nariender Thakur S/o Sh Balak Ram R/o village Halai P/o Deha Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 28.02.2016 he was going to his village from Deha. When he reached near his home and saw that a vehicle No HP-63C-1376 (Pickup), met with an accident in which five persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by  ASI Keshav Chand I/C PP Chailla.

2. An Animal Act case FIR No 37/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 28.02.2016 U/S 429 IPC & 11 of The Prevention of cruelty of animal Act 1960 on the statement of Sohan Singh S/O Sh Sahi Ram R/O village Hanog P.O Malat Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he is working in Parking at Bhattakufar. There is a cowshed, made by Local People near the parking. He also look after the above cowshed & gave water & grass to animals. On 28.02.2016, some unknown person has cut the tail & other parts of an ox with cruelty, due to which above ox has been died. The case is being investigated by ASI Dharmesh Dutt, I/O PS Dhalli.

3. A cheating case FIR No. 67/16 has been registered at PS west on 29.02.2016 U/S 420 IPC on the statement of Sh Nand Lal S/o Sh Bhadur Singh R/o Panuha Chiravana P/o Delgi Tehsil and Distt Solan alleging therein that one person namely Ashok Sharma told him that he will provide him job at Australia. On this allurement he gave him Rs 1,30,000/- but after this he did not provide him job at Australia and also not returned  his money. The case is being investigated ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS West.

4. A Theft case FIR No. 40/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 28.02.16 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Lama Tobje S/o Sh. Chitup R/o Bodh Temple Rampur, Shimla, HP alleging therein that on 28.02.2016 at about 10-00AM, one person came to Bodh Temple, who told himself Lama & stay in temple. At about 05-00 PM, above person told him that he has leave for Sikkam and asked for his bag, which is kept inside almirah. Lama Tobje gave him the key of almirah, but he did not return back. After sometime when he checked the almirah and found cash Rs.1,75,000/- has been stolen from almirah. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS Rampur.  

5. During last 24 hours 308 vehicles challaned under MV Act,  Total Challan compounded =167 & fine realized Rs. 57,400/- and 66 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 7600/-

1. On 28.02.2016, deceased Saroj Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Kirpa Ram R/o Village Kumbrara, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla, age 31 years, fell down from Apple tree near village Kumrara and died on the spot. After conducted autopsy at CHC Sandhasu, his deadbody handed over to his relatives for cremation. .  

2. Deceased Virender Kumar S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Village Tounru (Kufftu) PO Dharbog, PS Dhallki, Shimla age 21 years A/p Roshan Building, Lower Khalini, Shimla has committed suicide by hanging himself at Janjhiri (Lower Khalini) Shimla, in the jurisdiction of PS New Shimla. After conducted postmortem at IGMC Shimla, his deadbody handed over to his relatives for cremation.   

   Fire Incident;

1. On 28.02.2016 at about 09-15PM, A fire incident took place at Tikkari Bazar. Due to fire,  houses of Sh. Virender Bishta, Sh. Yashwant Singh & Sh. Surender Verma R/o Tikkari, one Post Office, one Barber Shop, An Apple Grading & Packing Machine etc. have been burnt.  The approximate value of damaged property is 25/30 lacs.

1. Accused i) Sagar Thakur @ Honey S/o Sh. Ranveer Thakur R/o Village & PO Jadoltaproli, Tehsil & PS Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmaur, HP A/P Bishan Bhawan near BSNL Office Jawahar Park Solan, Age 20 years and ii) Aman Thakur S/o Sh. Nek Ram Thakur R/o House No. 59, Ward No. 13, Sunny Side Court Road, Solan, age 21 years, arrested in case FIR No. 108/15 U/S 379 IPC at PS East, released on bail by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused Harshmeet @ galli S/o Daljeet Singh R/o Surya Vihar, Subhash Niwas, Kathed, bye pass solan age 20 years arrested today in case FIR No. 108/15 U/S 379 IPC at PS East.

3.  Accused Mohan Lal S/o late Sh. Devi Dutt Sharma R/o Vill. Khalot PO. Ghoond Teh. Theog Distt. Shimla age 43 years arrested in case FIR No. 172/15 dt. 11-10-2015 U/S 29-20/61-1985 ND&PS act at PS Theog today sent to judicial remand by the Trial Court.

4. Accused Ashok Sharma R/o Village Rampuri, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla  and Raju Sharma R/o Village Mahunag (Baunta), Tehsil & Distt Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 66/16 Dt. 25.02.2016 U/S 420,34 IPC at PS West, are on Police remand upto 02-03-2016.
