Crime Report On February 28th, 2016.

1. An Accident case FIR No. 29/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 27-02-2016 u/s 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vikrant Verma S/O Sh. Shyam Lal Verma R/O Vill. Raighat, PO & Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla, HP, stated therein that on dated 27.02.2016 at about 9.30 PM he saw that a car NO. HP 09C-0637 rolled down from the road. in this incident two persons namely Virender Pal @ Denny (Driver)and Mewa Ram got injured.  The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev I/O PS Theog.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 16/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 28-02-2016 u/s 279,304A IPC on the Ruka of HC Sita Ram alleging therein that one Nano Car NO. HP09C-0787 met with an accident at Kotkhai Pandli Road Nr Paroti Kanchi. In this accident Dvr Rajeev S/O sh. Laiq Ram R/O Paroti, PO Kotkhai, Distt Shimla died. The case is being investigated by Sita Ram I/O PS Kotkhai.
3. A Burglary case FIR No. 26/16 has been registered at PS East on dated 28.02.2016 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kamal kishor (HPS) R/O Set No.-4, Type-IV quarters, Police Colony Kasumpti, Shimla that, he is posted as a SDPO Rohru, due to school vacations his family was staying with him at Rohru. Yestarday he informed by his neighbor that, theft has been occurred in his room. On this information he come to shimla in his room and found that main door of the room was broken and some unknown person stolen away TV, VCD, STREO, blankets, and other house holds articles total worth Rs. 35.000/- in the intervening night of 26/27.02.2016. The case is being investigated  by ASI Daleep Kumar I/O police Post Kasumpti, PS East, Shimla.
4. During last 24 hours 360 vehicles challaned under MV Act,  Total Challan compounded =206 & fine realized Rs. 87,200/- and 101 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 11,300/-

Inquests:

1. One deceased person namely Saroj Kumar S/O Lt Sh. Kirpa Ram R/O Vill. Kumbrara, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt Shimla, age 31 yrs died on spot due to fall from apple plant during      cutting/pruning  at Kumbrara, on dated 27.02.2016.
2. A Deadbody of a deceased person namely Ram Bahadur S/O Sh. Vir Bahadur C/O Pragti Nagar, PO Gumma, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt Shimla age 45 years found the roadside at Gumma on dated 27.02.2016, who was a labourer of HPPWD at Kotkhai.

1.     Accused i) Sagar Thakur @ Honey S/o Sh. Ranveer Thakur R/o Village & PO Jadoltaproli, Tehsil & PS Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmaur, HP A/P Bishan Bhawan near BSNL Office Jawahar Park Solan, Age 20 years and ii) Aman Thakur S/o Sh. Nek Ram Thakur R/o House No. 59, Ward No. 13, Sunny Side Court Road, Solan, age 21 years, arrested in case FIR No. 108/15 U/S 379 IPC at PS East is on Police remand upto 29-02-2016.

2.     Accused Mohan Lal S/o late Sh. Devi Dutt Sharma R/o Vill. Khalot PO. Ghoond Teh. Theog Distt. Shimla age 43 years arrested in case FIR No. 172/15 dt. 11-10-2015 u/s 29-20/61-1985 ND&PS act at PS Theog and is on Police remand upto 29-02-2016.

3.     Accused Harshmeet @ galli S/o Daljeet Singh R/o Surya Vihar, Subhash Niwas, Kathed, bye pass solan age 20 years arrested in case Fir no. 92/15 dt. 14-10-15 u/s 379 IPC at PS East is on Police remand upto 29-02-2016

4.     Accused Ashok Sharma R/o Village Rampuri, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla  and Raju Sharma R/o Village Mahunag (Baunta), Tehsil & Distt Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 66/16 dt. 25.02.2016 U/S 420,34 IPC at PS West are on Police remand upto 02-03-2016.
