Crime Report on 11 February 2016

  1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 20/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 11.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Narkanda, Shimla alleging therein that today on 11.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on Patrolling/Traffic checking duty at Kaichi More, Narkanda. At about 12-30 PM, two persons namely Anish S/o Sh. Satpal R/o Village Gaura, PO Dhargaura, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 23 years and Krishan Khatri S/o Sh. Vishnu Khatri A/P Village & PO Chati, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 31 years have been intercepted by them and recovered 04Kg. Charas from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Narkanda, Shimla.

  2. An ND&PS case FIR No.19/16 has been  registered at PS Kumarsain on 10.02.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Virochan Negi, SHO PS Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 10.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling or to collect the intelligence regarding illegal trading of drugs in the jurisdiction of PS Kumarsain. When they reached near Bithal on NH-5, one person namely Prakash Verma S/o Lt. Sh. Mahender Singh Verma R/o Village Gulo, PO Jais, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, coming from Sainj, intercepted by them and recovered 14 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by  SI Virochan Negi, SHO PS Kumarsain, Shimla.

  3. An ND&PS case FIR No. 16/16 has been registered at PS  Theog on 10.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C Police Post Deha alleging therein that on 10.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Balag. At about 02-30 PM, when they reache near Neri Pul,  one person namely Sevak Ram S/o Sh. Kishu Ram R/o Village Giripul Neri Jgala, PO Sanaura (Karganu) Tehsil Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmaur, HP intercepted by them & recovered 95 gram charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C Police Post Deha, PS Theog.

  4. An ND&PS case FIR No. 17/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 10.02.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog on the rukka of SI Rajender Kumar, Addl. SHO PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 10.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Devi More, Sandhu, Laphughati, Narail etc in Theog. When they reached near Dramun, one person namely Shivam S/o Sh. Arjun Dev Singh R/o Village Druman, PO Laphughati, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 19 years, intercepted by them & recovered 51 gram charas from his possession.  The case is being investigated by SI Rajender Kumar, Addl. SHO PS Theog, Shimla.

  5. A Burglary case FIR No. 50/16 has been registered at PS East 10.02.2016 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the statement of Sh ramesh Thakur S/o Sh Ram Krishan R/O village Tangyali P/o Rodi Tehsil & Distt Shimla  A/P C/o Sh NAryan Singh building Arain Billa Near Snow View Hotel Shimla alleging therein that on 10.02.2016 some unknown person broke the locks of main door and inner door of his brother's house & entered inside the house.Stolen away one T.V(LCD)from the house premises.The case is being investigated by ASI  Pratap Singh, I/O PS East.

  6. A Theft case FIR No. 31/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 10.02.2016 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Pawan Kumar R/o Village Dhar Brahmpuri, PO Jagasth Nagar, Tehsil Jai Singhpur, Kangar A/P Quarter No. 24, Block No. 16/A, SDA Colony, Bharat Sadan, Vikas Nagar Shimla alleging therein that some unknown person has stolen away his Alto Car No. HP-56-1658, bearing  Chassis Number -MA3EYD81500599902 & Engine Number- F8DN4091518, parked outside his office Reliance 4G Project at Sanjauli Shimla.

  7. During last 24 hours 789 vehicles challaned under MV Act and 83 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded = 578 and fine realized Rs. 1,27,600/-

    Deceased Ramesh Chand S/O Sh Murti Ram Village Sarahan PO Pouria Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla age about  50 years has been died due to fall in Kiyarnu Nalah, in the jurisdiction of PS Nerwa. After conducted his Postmortem at CH Nerwa, his dead body handed over to his family members for cremation.

  1. Accused Puran Chand R/o Village & PO Brog, PO Mahori, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, HP arrested in case FIR No. 15/16 Dt. 07-02-2016 U/S 307,323 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act at PS Theog, is being produced before Trial Court today.

  2. Accused Chander Prakash S/o Lt. Sh. Pritam Singh R/o Village Naug Kaichi, PO & Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 17/16 Dt. 06.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, is being produced before Trail Court today.

  3. Accused Leela Dutt S/o Lt Sh Devki Nand R/O Village Munger P/o Kyar Koti Tehsil and Distt Shimla age 49 years arrested case FIR No 26/16 Dt. 09.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, today released on bail by the trial court.

  4. Accused Monu Kumar S/o Sh Satpal R/o Guru Govind Mohalla Barota road Gali No.10/02 Ludiana Punjab age 25 years arrested in case FIR No 29/16 Dt. 09.02.2016 US 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur, is on police remands upto 12.02.2016  .

  5. Accused  Bhag Chand Dogra S/o Sh. Rama Nand Dogra R/o Village Paunla, PO Mahouri, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla and Sanjay Dogra S/o Sh. Sant Ram R/o Village Rajana, PO Mahouri, Tehsil Theog arrested in case FIR No. 11/16 Dt. 10.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, today released on bail by the trial court.

  6. Accused Inder Pal Thakur S/o Sh. Tek Chand Thakur R/o Village Jajehar, PO Gumma, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla, age 27 years, arrested in case FIR No. 30/16 Dt. 09.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

  7. Accused Prajaul Dhanta S/o Sh Dinesh Dhanta R/O vill Danoti Tehsil Rorhu Distt Shimla age 21 years arrested in case FIR No 26/16 U/S 457,380,511 IPC at PS Dhalli, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

  8. Accused Sevak Ram S/o Sh. Kishu Ram Village Neri Jagala (Giripul) P/o Sanora Teh. Rajgarh Distt. Sirmour age 78 years arrested in case FIR No. 16/16 on 10.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on 10-02-2016 at PS Theog.

  9. Accused Prakash Verma S/o Lt. Sh. Mahender Singh Verma R/o Village Gulo, PO Jais, Tehsil Theog, Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 19/16 Dt. 10.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, is on police remand upto 13.02.2016.

  10. Accused i) Anish S/o Sh. Satpal R/o Village Gaura, PO Dhargaura, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 23 years and ii) Krishan Khatri S/o Sh. Vishnu Khatri A/P Village & PO Chati, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 31 years, arrested in case FIR No. 20/16 Dt. 11.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Kumarsain. Tomorrow they shall be produced before Ld. Court.
