Crime Report on February 20,2016

1. An Excise Act  case FIR No 12/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 19.02.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO PS Kotkhai alleging therein that when he is on patrolling  and traffic checking duty  near Rawghat along with staff he recovered 07 bottles of country  liquor from the possession of Naresh @ Naru S/o Sh Kandar Lal R/o villager Lesankhu P/o Lesankhu Teshil Dhulikham Distt. Chotura Anchal WafmatI Napal A/P Dhaba Rawghati Tehsil. Kotkhi Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigating by  SI/SHO Dharm Sain PS Kotkhai.
2. An Act endangering life or personal safety of others case FIR No. 16/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 19.02.2016 U/S 336, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Amit Kumar S/O Sh. Ajeet Singh R/O VPO Saryana Tehsil Mukeriya PS Hazipur Distt. Hoshiyarpur Punjab alleging therein that he is working as a helper in JCB machine of contractor Ajeet Singh Tegta S/O Sh. Hardyal Singh Tegta R/O Village Mahendli  Tehsil & PS Rohru Distt. Shimla HP and Sandeep Singh S/O Sh. Sukh Dev Singh R/O Bhathkhurd Distt. Tarantaaran Punjab age 32 years was working as an operator/driver in the same JCB machine. On 19.02.2016 at Haloti near Mahendly during work a big stone fell down on the JCB machine from hill side and in this incident JCB operator/driver Sandeep Singh died on spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Nain I/O PS Rohru Distt. Shimla.
3. During last 24 hours 276 vehicles challaned under MV Act and 19Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine from smoking act collected Rs 1900/-.Total Challan compounded MV Act=139 and fine realized 45,900/-

On 19.02.2016 Deceased Vinod Kumar S/o Sh Roop Lal R/o Mohalla No 50/13 Santlawas Cottage Near Lal Pani School Shimla age 65 brought to DDU Zonal Hospital by his brother Anil Kumar in died condition. Main cause of his death was heart failure. After conducted Postmortem at DDU Zonal Hospital his dead body handed over to his relatives for cremation

1. Accused Vikram Sharma @ Vickey S/o Late Sh. Bhram Dass Vill. Matiyal P.O Jalari Tehsil & P.S Nadaun Distt. Hamirpur H.P arrested in case FIR No. 24/16 U/S 363,366,376 IPC & Section 4 POCSO Act PS East is on police remand up to 22.02.2016.

2. Accused Inder Singh S/o Sh Sadhu Ram R/O Village Anand Kot PS Chasana Katra Distt Udhampur J &K age 34 years A/P Thakur Niwas Near PNB Bank Chaili Summer Hill Shimla arrested in case FIR No 33/16 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar released on bail by Ld Court.

3. Accused Yashpal S/o Khem Raj R/o Dedhyog A/P Karyana shop at Dedhyog arrested in case FIR No 10/16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Suni is on police remand up to 22.02.2016
