Crime Report on February 10,2016

  1. An ND&PS case FIR No. 19/16 has been registered at PS East on 09.02.16 U/S 20,27-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of Insp. Chander Shekhar,SHO PS East, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Chhota Shimla Bazar, Nav Bahar, Bemoloe & Talland. At about 09-30 PM, when they reached near Nav Bahar Chowk, one person namely Saurabh Sharma S/o Sh. Narender Sharma R/o Vilalge Anji, PO Sairyghat, Tehsil Kandaghat, Distt. Solan, age 20 years was smoking charas in Bidi.  During search, 14 gram chars recovered from his possession.  The case is being investigated by  Insp. Chander Shekhar,SHO PS East.

  2. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 20/16 has been registered at PS East on 10.02.2016 U/S  20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Tenzing Chhering, I/O PAR Vikas Nagar, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.02.2016 at about 10-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Rakesh Shandil S/o Sh. Kamal Ram R/o Kamal Niwas, Sec.-II, New Shimla, age 35 years intercepted by them near BCS Nalah on NH-22 & recovered 14 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Tenzing Chhering, I/O PAR Vikas nagar Shimla.

  3. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 10/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 09.02.2016  U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain Negi, SHO PS Kotkhai alleging therein that on 09.02.2016 at about 02-40 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff,  one person namely Keshav Ram S/o Sh. Thachu Ram R/o Village Mahavri (Janol ) PO Rawala Kayar Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla HP  age 43 year, coming from Baghi side intercepted by them at Khaltu Nalah and recovered 82 gms. charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain Negi SHO PS Kotkhai.

  4. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 30/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 09.02.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Nag Dev, I/C PP Mashobra, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.02.2016, during patrolling, one person namely Inder Pal  Thakur S/o Sh. Tek chand Thakur R/o Village Jajehar, PO Gumma, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla, age 27 years intercepted by them near Village Gamru and recovered 30 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Nag Dev, I/C PP Mashobra, Shimla.

  5. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 05/16 has been  registered at PS Kupvi on 09.02.2016 U/S   20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka SI Sandeep Sharma, SHO PS Kupvi, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Katli, Hanog, Malat, and Knaha.  At about 06:30 PM, when  they coming back and reached near Katli, one person namely Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Mohan lal R/O Village Hanog PO Malat Teh. Kupvi  Distt. Shimla intercepted by them &  recovered 22 gram charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Sandeep Sharma, SHO PS Kupvi.

  6. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 11/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 10.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Balbir Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 09/10.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on Nakabandi duty at Anu Nalah. At about 02-15 AM, one vehicle No. HP-63A-2392 (Pick-Up) alongwith two persons namely driver Bhag Chand Dogra S/o Sh. Rama Nand Dogra R/o Village Paunla, PO Mahouri, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla and Sanjay Dogra S/o Sh. Sant Ram R/o Village Rajana, PO Mahouri, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, intercepted by them and recovered 703 gram Charas from their possession. The case is being investigated by HC Balbir Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla.

  7. A Cheating case FIR No. 18/16 has been registered at PS East on 09.02.2016 U/S 420 IPC & 66(A) IT Act on the application of Sh. Tashi Palmo C/o Sharma Niwas, Panthaghati, Shimla alleging therein that in the month of Jan, 2016, he received a friend request in his facebook account. He accepted his request and started chatting with him. On 20.01.2016, he called him on his mobile and told him that he is working in Shopping Mall and send a some items worth Rs. 10,000/- and cash £45,000/- Pound to him. On 23.01.2016, he received a call from mobile No. 84709-81409 and told him that your box reached at Delhi and deposit Rs. 30,000/- in Account No. 20237976857 to release the box. On 02.02.2016, he deposited the above amount, but on the same day he again received a call & told him that the amount deposited by you, will not reached in time and  now  deposited Rs. 85,000/-. The case is being investigated by Insp. Chander Shekhar, SHO PS East.

  8. A ND&PS Act case FIR No 30/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 10.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND & PS Act on the rukka of HC Chottu Ram I/O PP Nankhari, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.02.2016 at about 07.00 PM, when he alongwith staff was on patrolling near Nankhri Barog Road, one person namely  Manoj Kumar S/O Lal Dass PO Megolta PO Dnawali Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP age 24 years intercepted by them and recovered 16 grams Charas from his possession. The case is being investigating by HC Chottu Ram, I/O PP Nankhri.

  9. A Burglary case FIR No. 27/16 has been registered at PS Sadar, Shimla on 09.02.2016 U/S 457,380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jagdish Chand Chug S/o Lt. Sh. Hakim Rai R/o GF North Bank Building, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 18.01.2016, some unkown person has stolen away one LED TV (Samsung) & garments from his house. The case is being investigated by SI Jasveer Singh, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.

  10. A Theft case FIR No. 28/16 has been registered PS Sadar, Shimla on 09.02.2016 U/S 380, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kapil Kumar Sood M/S Mahashya Jewelers, The Mall Shimla alleging therein that his Manager Suresh Kumar told him that he gave the 90 gram jewellary to craftsman Pradeep Kuamr for melting. But after checking the record, he found that Manager Suresh Kumar has not given the gold to craftsman and stolen the above gold. The case is being investigated by SI Rajnish Thakur, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla.

  11. A Burglary Case  FIR No 29/16 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 10.02.2016 U/S 457, 380 IPC  on the complaint of Chander Shekhar Singh Verma S/o Sh Ripudanan Singh Advocate R/O Cedar Villa near West end Apartment Bharari Shimla alleging therein that on 25.01.2016, he has gone to Pune Maharashtra  and  came back today at about 09-00AM and found that some unknown person has broken the door lock of his house and stolen away One LED Tv, One computer Lenovo, Bracelet Ladies Gold, Rings,Chain,  Ladies and gents Wrist watch & Suit and Mobile Phone. The case is being investigated by HC Nazir Ahmad, I/O P.P. L/Bazar Shimla

  12. An Accident case FIR No 21/16 has been registered at PS East on 10.02.2016 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Vijay Kumar S/o Sh.Padam Singh R/o Vill Hori P.O Beolia Tehsil & Distt. Shimla That on 10-02-2016 at 10.30 am Vikram Singh, Puran Chand Came to his Dhaba for tea after having the tea they went towards Hori to Baragaon in vehicle No HP-62B- 0327 Vehicle driven by Vikram Singh at about 11-00 AM Vikram Singh lost his contrl over the vehicle and met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Vikram Singh. The case  is being investigated  by ASI Dalip Chand I/O PP Kasumpti .

  13. During last 24 hours 403 vehicles challaned under MV Act and 104 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded = 301 and fine realized Rs. 70,300/-

  1. Deceased Amar Singh S/O Rania Ram R/O Vill Optua PO Nerwa Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla age about 50 years brought dead in CH Nerwa in burning case. During inquiry, it is found that Deceased Amar Singh was a heart patient and due to heart attack, he felt on the burning gas stove and died on the spot.

  2. Accused Kamal Singh S/o Sh. Chavi Lal R/o VPO Seema Teshil & PS Rohru age 20 years arrested case FIR No 07/16  U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Jubbal, sent to judicial remand by Ld court.

  3. Accused Chander Prakash S/o Lt. Sh. Pritam Singh R/o Village Naug Kaichi, PO & Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 17/16 Dt. 06.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, is on police remand upto 11.02.2016.

  4. Accused Bilal Ahmad Bange S/o Sh. Mohd. Razab Bange R/o Village Shahu-Shachan, PO Kulgam, Tehsil & PS Kulgam, J&K, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 25/16 Dt. 07.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Sadar, today release on bail by the Trial court.

  5. Accused Puran Chand S/o Sh. Jeevan Lal R/o Vill Dudta Sandra PO Tikkri Tehsil & Distt. Hoshiyarpur Punjab at present C/o Jai Dev Busheri VPO Kansakoti Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla, HP, arrested in case FIR No. 11/16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Rohru, today sent to judicial remand upto 20.02.2016 by the Ld. Court.

  6. Accused Sandeep Kumar S/o Sh. Ashok Kumar R/o Village Kanda Ojad, P/o Mashobra, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 24 years arrested case FIR No. 27/16 Dt. 08.02.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli released on bail by trial court.

  7. Accused Tarun Chauhan S/o Sh. Prakash Chauhan R/o Vilage Katach, PO Himari, Tehsil & PS Kotkhai, Shimla, age 18 years, arrested in case FIR No. 28/16 Dt. 08.02.16 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli released on bail by trial court.

  8. Accused Aman S/o Sh. Dula Ram R/o Village & PO Tharoch, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla A/P Keshta Niwas, below Prabhakar Auto Mobile Bhatakufar Road, Dhalli,age 22 years arrested in case FIR No. 29/16 Dt. 08.02.16 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli is on judicial on remand up to 11.02.2016.

  9. Accused Leela Dutt S/o Lt Sh Devki Nand R/O Village Munger P/o Kyar Koti Tehsil and Distt Shimla age 49 years arrested case FIR No 26/16 Dt. 09.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar is on police remands upto 11.02.2016.  

  10. Accused Monu Kumar S/o Sh Satpal R/o Guru Govind Mohalla Barota road Gali No.10/02 Ludiana Punjab age 25 years arrested in case FIR No 29/16 Dt. 09.02.2016 US 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur is on police remands upto 12.02.2016  .

  18. Accused Prajaul Dhanta S/o Sh Dinesh Dhanta R/O vill Danoti Tehsil Rorhu Distt Shimla age 21 years arrested in case FIR No 26/16 U/S 457,380,511 IPC at PS Dhalli he will be produced before Ld court tomorrow.
