Crime Report on 04 February 2016

  1. An ND&PS Act case FIR No 23/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 03.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Lal Chand No 116, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 03.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Khaneri. At about 05.30 PM, when they reached near Khaneri Hospital, one person namely Kaul Ram S/O Sh. Ghunghru R/o Vill. Badari P/o Jaon Tehsil Nirmand  Distt. Kullu Age-57 Yrs , intercepted by them and recovered 30 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Lal Chand No 116 I/O PS Rampur.

  2. An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 09/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 03.02.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling. At about 03-50 PM, when they reached near Pragtinagar, one person namely Naresh Sharma S/o lt. Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village & PO Bagain, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, intercepted by them and recovered 85 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain, SHO PS Kotkhai. 

  3. An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 36/16 has been registered at PS West on 03.02.2016 U/S 15-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on traffic checking duty on NH-205 near 16 Mile. At about 12-00 Noon, one Motorcycle No. CH-04H-6708 (Pulsar) alongwith rider namely Hans Raj S/o SH. Dila Ram R/o Village Kakra, PO Darlaghat, Distt. Solan, age 32 years stopped by them for checking and recovered 600 gram Churapost (Bhukki)  from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami Shimla.

  4. An ND&PS Act case FIR No. 20/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 03.02.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Radhe Shyam, I/O PS Sadar, alleging therein that on 03.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Old Bus Stand, Downdale etc in Shimla. At about 05-00 PM, when they reached at Railway line near Downdale, one person namely Aditya Chandel S/o Sh. Makkhan Singh Chandel R/o Chandel Bhawan, near ACSTI Bank Sangti, Summer Hill, Shimla age 16 years intercepted by them and recovered 28 grams Charas recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Radhe Shyam, I/O PS Sadar.

  5. An Accident case FIR No 24/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on  03.02.2016 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the Ruka of  SI  Shyam Tomer I/C  PP Nankhari alleging therein that  at about 1.30 pm Near Sharan Dhank Mandei one vehicle No HP 01A-3583 met with an accident driven by Vir Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Maan Singh Vill. Kotra PO Surad Tehsil Rampur Disstt. Shimla age. 45 yrs died on spot.The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Tomer I/C PP Nankhari.

  6. An Accident case FIR No No. 37/16 has been registered at PS West on 04.02.2016 U/S 279 IPC,187 M.V.Act,  & 3 PDP Act on the Statement of Naresh Kumar S/o Sh Tulsi Ram R/o village Kasol P/o Morsanghi Tehsil Ghumaruin Distt Bilaspur alleging therein that on 04.02.2016 he alongwith Pranshant was going to Rorhu in his Vehicle No HP-23C-4781. When they reached near Banuti a truck No HP-51B-0361 came rashly from Pahal side and hit his vehicle and rum away from the spot.When he chased this truck up to Pahal there they saw that this truck hit a another parked  vehicle No HP62B-1233 and electricity pole.This truck did not stop there and again runaway from the spot.The case is being investigated by HC Shyam Lal I/O PS West.    

  7. A Trespass case FIR No 38/16 has been registered at PS West on 04.02.16 U/S 448, 380 IPC P.S. West on the statement of Sh Chanden S/o Sh Bihari Sharma R/o Old kombley Bank Building Shimla alleging therein that some unknown person entered in his room and stolen away Carpenter machine, some tools of carpentry,beds & T.V from his room .The case is being investigated by ASI Sewa Singh I/O PS West.

Ramesh Chandel R/o Village & PO Shilaru, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 19 years & iii) Rakshak Khachi S/o Sh. Prem Singh Khachi, R/o Village Diddy, PO & Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 20 years, arrested in case FIR No. 08/16 Dt. 25.01.2016 U/S 302,392,120B IPC at PS Theog, are further on police remand upto 06.02.2016.

  2. Accused Vipin Kumar S/o SH. Kishan R/o Village Ghanetra, PO Kihar, Tehsil Sulani, Distt. Chamba, HP arrested in case FIR No. 09/16  Dt. 31.01.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Jhakri, is on police remand upto 05.02.2016.

  3. Accused Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Amar Singh R/o Village Daseranwala, P/o Bhararighat, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan arrested in case FIR No 16/16 at PS Kumarsain U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act sent to judicial remand up to 12.02.2016

  4. Accused Akshay Dogar S/o Sh. O.C. Dogar R/o 2nd Floor, Himani Building, The Ridge Shimla, age 45 years, Hem Chand Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Golu Ram R/o Village & PO Nagvain, Tehsil Oat, Distt. Mandi, age 48 years A/P SDO, Sewage,  Sub-Division Dhalli & Vinod Kumar (Ex-En.) S/o Sh. Bhag Singh R/o Village Dodar, PO Rakhoh, Tehsil Sarkaghat, Distt. Mandi, age 47 years, Accused Praneet Kumar (J.E) S/o Sh. Mehar Singh R/o Village & P/O Adahal, Tehsil Rohru, Distt. Shimla, age 47 years and Manoj Verma S/o Sh. Gopal Singh Verma R/o Village Shanan, PO Sanjauli Shimla, age 37 years,   arrested in Case FIR No. 03/16 U/S 269,270,277,336,326 IPC & 43, 44 of Water Prevention & Control of Pollution Act at PS Dhalli.  Accused Akshay Dogar, Hem Chand are sent to judicial remand by trial court and their hearing date now fixed in trail court on 06.02.2016.

  5.  Accused Kaul Ram S/O Sh. Ghunghru R/o Vill. Badari PO Jaon Tehsil Nirmand  Distt. Kullu Age-57 Yrs arrested in case FIR No 23/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 03.02.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act is on police remand up to 05.02.2016.

  6. Accused Naresh Sharma S/o lt. Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village & P/o Bagain, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, arrested case FIR No. 09/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai Dt. 03.02.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act is on police remand up to 06.01.20165.

  7. Accused Hans Raj S/o SH. Dila Ram R/o Village Kakra, PO Darlaghat, Distt. Solan, age 32 years arrested in case FIR No. 36/16  has been registered at PS West on 03.02.2016 U/S 15-61-85 ND&PS today released on bail by Ld court.

  8.  (Minor) accused  arrested in case FIR No. 20/16 has been registered at PS Sadar on 03.02.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act and handed over to his parents.
