Crime Report on February 26, 2016.

1. A Copyright Act case FIR No. 18/16  has been registered at PS Rohru on 25.02.2016 U/S 379, 120B IPC & 37, 51, 63, 65 Copyright Act on the application of Sh. Harvinder Singh S/o Sh. Ajit Singh R/O Plot No. 353 Sector 30, Vijay Bihar Star Mal Gurgaon, Gurgaon City, Gurgaon, Haryana stated therein that he is a team leader in Nebika Consulting India Pvt. Ltd and  is authorized representative of  Star India Pvt. Ltd. He came to know that City Cable Network operates by Sh. Ashwani Thakur and Sh. Gagan Bashambhu Good Media News Pvt. Ltd. Mohan Market Near Chirgaon Road Rohru Distt. Shimla HP was illegally distributed the signals of his channel Star Plus. The case is being investigated by SI Vikas Sharma Addl. SHO PS Rohru.
2. A Copyright Act case FIR No. 65/16 has been registered at PS West on 25.02.2016 U/S 379 IPC & 64 Copyright Act on the application of Sh. Baljeet Singh S/o Sh. Darshan Singh R/o Fulowall Pakhowal Road 219 Motibag Colony, Guru Nanak Gali, Ludhiana, Punjab stated therein that he is working as Field Officer in Media Software Solution. He came to know that Good Media News Private Ltd. Shimla was illegally distributing the signals of Channels of Star India Private Ltd. Company.  The case is being investigated by SI Desh Raj Guleria, I/O PS West.
3. A Copyright Act case FIR No. 37/16 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 26.02.2016 U/S 379,120B IPC & 37,51, 63 Copyright Act on the application of Sh.Santosh Mahabir Prasad S/o Mahabir Prasad Manager Sarvodaya Galaxy Kopper Dombi Bali West Mumbai stated therein that he is working as Manager in Star Network. He came to know that Ashwani Kumar and Gagan R/o Rampur were illegally distributing the signals of their Channels.  The case is being investigated by SI Naresh Kumar , I/O PS Rampur.
4. A Cheating case FIR No. 66/16 has been registered at PS West on 25.02.2016 U/S 420,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Brij Lal Sharma S/o Sh. Laiq Ram Sharma R/o Village Kanada, PO Gyah, Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla, HP and Sh. Bharat Bhushan s/o Sh. Prem Lal R/o Village Koon, PO Magu, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan, HP stated therein that two persons namely Ashok Sharma R/o Village Rampuri, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla  and Raju Sharma R/o Village Mahunag (Baunta), Tehsil & Distt. Shimla have taken Rs. 3 lacs from them to provide them job in Police Department during recruitment in the year of 2015. After that they didn't provide job them, even refuse to return their money. The case is being investigated by SI Ashish Samual, I/C PP Summer Hill Shimla.
5. During last 24 hours 762 vehicles challaned under MV Act,  Total Challan compounded =533 & fine realized Rs. 1,45800/- and 98 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 9950/-

Fire Incident:

           During intervening night of 25/26.02.2016 fire incident took place in the house of Sh. Shishu Chauhan at Jhateer Maraog in the jurisdiction of PS Chopal.  In this incident, 6 rooms, one Kitchen & one store burnt totally and one  person namely Dhyan Singh S/o Sh. Shupa Ram R/o Village & PO Balikoti, Tehsil Shillai, Distt. Sirmaur, Age 40 years suspected to die inside the house.

1.       Accused i) Sagar Thakur @ Honey S/o Sh. Ranveer Thakur R/o Village & PO Jadoltaproli, Tehsil & PS Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmaur, HP A/P Bishan Bhawan near BSNL Office Jawahar Park Solan, Age 20 years and ii) Aman Thakur S/o Sh. Nek Ram Thakur R/o House No. 59, Ward No. 13, Sunny Side Court Road, Solan, age 21 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 108/15 U/S 379 IPC at PS East,

2.       Accused Budhi Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Dass R/o Village Kothari, P/o  Ghoond, Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla HP, arrested in case FIR No. 15/16 Dt. 24.02.16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, is on police remand upto 27.02.2016
