Crime Report on Feb. 22, 2016

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 23/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.02.2016 U/S 39(i) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Brij Lal I/C  PP Narkanda alleging therein that on 21.02.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PP Narkanda. At about  04-00 PM, on the secret information he searched the dhaba of   Jabe Ram S/O Bale Ram R/O Village & PO Mouji, Tehsil Banjar Distt.Kullu at Khambraj Nalah & recovered 03 bottles (2250ml) of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij  Lal I/C PP Narkanda.

2. A Cheating case FIR No. 21/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.02.2016 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh . Chet  Ram S/O Lt.Shyama Nand  Prop (Shiva  Fruit Company- Fruit  and Vegetable  commission  Agent ) Narkanda ,Shilaru R/O Vill. Mattlu .PO Bhagi Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla stated therein that one person namely Kamal S/O Ramesh  Kumar Prop  M/S AF Delhi C/O DRK Shop No  .B -724 ,New  Subzi  Mandi  Azadpur   New Delhi  has purchased 1037 apple boxes amounting to Rs. 11,01,912/- from his shop, but didn't make any payment till now of above consignment & cheated him. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij  Lal I/C PP Narkanda

3. A Cheating case FIR No. 22/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.02.2016 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Chet  Ram S/o Lt. Shyama Nand  Prop (Shiva  Fruit Company- Fruit  and Vegetable  commission  Agent ) Narkanda, Shilaru R/O Vill. Mattlu .PO Bhagi Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla one person namely Sh. Nar Singh Yadav (NSY) Subzi Mandi  Vapi  Daman Gujrat.That  Nar Singh Yadav has purchased  1030 apple boxes  amounting to Rs 13,39000/- through his apple forwarding agency Style Shiva Fruit Company and he also paid Rs. 80000/- to the drivers in advance for diesel and fright expenses etc. But now above person Nar Singh Yadav did not make any payment of above consignment till now & cheated him. The case is being  investigation by ASI Brij  Lal I/C PP Narkanda.

4. A House Trespass case FIR No. 13/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 21.02.2016 U/S 451 323 IPC on the report of Sh. Bachal Lal S/o Sh. Nargu Ram R/o Village Losta, PO Kyari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 20.02.2016 at about 08-00 PM, his elder brother namely Rattan Chand @ Pinku entered in house and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Balbir Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.

5. An Accident case FIR No.  14/16 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 22.02.2016 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhagat RamChauhan S/o SH. Mansa Ram R/o Village Hulli, PO Gumma, Tehsil Kotkahi, Shimla alleging therein that today at about 01-00 PM, one Car No. HP-09C-3440 met with an accident near Hulli due to rash & negligent driving of Jagdish Sharma S/o Sh. Sadhu Ram R/o Village Badog, PO Himari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 32 years and rolled down from the road. In this accident, driver Jagdish Sharma died on the way to hospital. The case is being investigated by SI Dharma Sain, SHO PS Kotkhai.

6. During last 24 hours 342 vehicles challaned under MV Act,  Total Challan compounded =227 & fine realized Rs. 63,600/- and 148 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs 15,200/-.

   Inquest Report

1. On 21.02.2016 at about 08-00 PM, deceased Roshan Lal S/o Sh. Pateshu Ram R/o Village & PO Khagteshi, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 66 years, who was working as a tailor in Patiala Tailoring House Shop, Allay No. 6, Lower Bazar Shimla, fall in the stairs while he was going to home from above shop. He was brought to IGMC Shimla for treatment, where Medical Officer declared him brought dead. After conducted autopsy at IGMC, Shimla, his deadbody handed over to his relatives for cremation.

1. Accused Yashpal S/o Khem Raj R/o Dedhyog A/P Karyana shop at Dedhyog arrested in case FIR No 10/16 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sunni,  today released on bail by the trial court.

2. Accused Mohammad Sharif  S/o Mohammad Gguljar R/o Vill. Koti Chadiyar PO.  Sujan Cchalog Teh. Bani,Distt. Kathua J&K age 45  has been arrested in case FIR No. 26/16 dated 20-02-16  U/S  454,380 IPC  at PS Theog, is on police remand upto 25.02.2016.

3. Accused Vikram Sharma @  Vicky S/ Late Sh. Bharam Dass Vill Matiyal PO. Jalari Tehsil & PS Nadaun Distt. Hamirpur HP, arrested in case FIR No. 24/16  U/S 363,366,376 IPC & Section 04 of POCSO Act at PS East, today sent to judicial remand upto 03.03.2016.

4. Accused i) Sagar Thakur @ Honey S/o Sh. Ranveer Thakur R/o Village & PO Jadoltaproli, Tehsil & PS Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmaur, HP A/P Bishan Bhawan near BSNL Office Jawahar Park Solan, Age 20 years and ii) Aman Thakur S/o Sh. Nek Ram Thakur R/o House No. 59, Ward No. 13, Sunny Side Court Road, Solan, age 21 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 92/15 Dt. 14.10.15 U/S 379 IPC at PS East.They will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
