Crime Report on July 18, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No 36/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 17.07.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjay Chauhan S/o Karam Chand R/o Village Hulli, PO Gumma Tehsil Kotkhai Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 17.07.2015 at about 04.30 PM, vehicle No. CH-01 AF 8998 met with an accident near Hulli, due to rash and negligent driving of driver Sonu. In this accident, five persons namely Sonu, Rohit, Avinash, Raman and Ashwani sustained injuries. The case investigated by SI Dharam Sain Negi, SHO PS Kotkhai.
2. A Cheating case FIR No. 161/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 17.07.15 U/S 420 IPC & 66 IT Act has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Arnav Bali S/o Maj. Gen. P.M. Bali, VSM 8, Aranyadeep Knollswood, Chhota Shimla stated therein that he has a saving Bank Account in ICICI Bank at The Mall Shimla. On 04.07.2015, some unknown person has withdrawn Rs. 45000/- from his account. The case is being investigated by Insp. Sanjeev Kumar, SHO PS Sadar. 
3. Causing injury with dangerous weapon case FIR No 129/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today i.e. 18.0.7.2015 U/S 324,506 IPC on the report of Sh. Ranjeet Singh S/o Sh. Mohar Singh R/o Village Smege, PO Sugha Tehsil Nirmand Distt. Kullu alleging therein that on 17.07.2015 at about 07.00 PM when he was coming towards Rampur. When he reached near HRTC Workshop Rampur, suddenly one person namely Mast Ram attacked on him with Beer bottle. He sustained injury on his head. The case is being investigated by ASI Khaidi Ram I/C PP City Rampur.
4. During last 24 hours 206 vehicles challaned under MV Act & 05 Person challaned under Smoking Act. Total challaned compounded= 84 & fine realized Rs. 23,000/-

Follow up

1.    Sunil (Happy) S/o Sh. Sohan Lal Madhania, Vill. Bhalech, PO Dharampur, Teh/Thana Theog, Distt Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No 79/15 Dt. 06-03-15 U/S 457, 380 IPC at PS Dhalli, today sent to judicial remand by the Trial court.

2.    Ramesh Kumar s/o Late Sh. Jiwanand R/o VIll. Majthai P.O. Badehri Tehsil & Distt. Shimla Age- 45 years, Ajay Kumar S/o Sh. Jagdish Thakur  r/o Kiar Post offce Chaili Tehsil & Distt Shimla Age- 28 years ,  Vijay Kumar S/O Sh Kali Ram R/O Vidya Niwas VijayNagar Tutu Tehsil & Distt Shimla Age 28 and Hem Raj @ Raju S/o Sh. Krishan Chand R/o Village Shanan, PO Dev Nagar, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla Presently residing at village Hamani, PO Deorighat, Tehsil Kandaghat, Distt. Solan, age 27 years  arrested  in arrested  in case FIR No. 104/15 Dt. 4-5-15 U/S 457, 380 IPC at PS West, today above accused produced before Ld. Court and Accused Ramesh is further on police remand upto 20.07.2015, Hem Raj sent to Judicial Remand and Accused Ajay Kumar & Vijay Kumar have been released on bail by the Trial Court.
