Crime Report July 25, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act Case FIR No. 165/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 24.07.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND& PS Act on the rukka of HC Amar Dutt, I/O PS Sadar Shimla stated therein that on 24.07.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Longwood, Clustun at Shimla. When they reached near Army Servant Quarter at Karegadu near Hari Niwas, one Maruti Car No. HP-03-1532 alongwith driver namely Geeta Ram S/o Sh. Dhani Ram R/o Village Damrash, PO Parnu, PS Darlaghat, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan intercepted by them. During search, 129.72 gram charas has been recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Amar Dutt, I/O PS Sadar.

2. An Excise Act case FIR No 244/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 24.07.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise on the rukka of ASI Kuldip Singh, I/O PS Dhalli Shimla stated therein that on 24.07.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Dhalli Bazar & Bypass road in Shimla. At about 07-45 PM, when they reached near the house of Ashish at Lambidhar one person namely Jitender Kumar S/o Sh. Inder Singh R/o Gill Niwas, Lower Khalini, Shimla, age 30 years was stood alongwith some boxes besides the road. During search, 12 boxes of country liquor marka Himachal Orange recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldip Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.

3. An Excise Act case FIR No. 38/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 24.07.2015 u/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain Negi, SHO PS Kotkhai stated therein that on 24.07.2015, during patrolling at Gandhi Nagar Ratnari, he recovered 12 bottles of country liquor marka Pataila No. 1 from the possession of Sandeep Thakur S/o Sh. Kanwar Singh R/o Village Gandhi Nagar, PO Ratnari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain Negi, SHO PS Kotkhai.

4. An Accident case FIR No 78/15 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 24.07.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rattan Dass S/O late Sh. Toti Ram R/o Village Shah Karai, PO Dhar Goura, Tehsil Rampur, Distt Shimla stated therein that on 24.07.2015 at about 8.30 AM, one Bolero Camper No HP-35B-0105 hit Scooty HP-06A-5944 near Shiv Ram house at Tangnu, due to rash & negligent driving of Bolero Camper's driver namely Amar singh S/O Sh. Gokal Ram R/O Shah P.O Dhargoura Tehsil Rampur. In this accident Roshan lal S/O late sh. Chat ram R/O Gasoh P.O. Jhakri sustained injuries.

5. A House Trespass case FIR No. 243/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 24.07.2015 U/S 451 504 34 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Meena Devi W/o Sh. Rattan Lal R/o Village Gaidda, PO Khatnol, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 24.06.2015, Smt. Indira alongwith her family members  entered in her premises and scuffle with her husband & abused him. The case is being investigated by ASI Nag Dev, I/C PP Mashobra.

6. A Burglary case FIR No 134/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today i.e. 25.07.2015 U/S 457,380 IPC on the application of Sh. Surinder Thakur S/O Sh. Phula Singh Thakur R/o village Sarla Prog, PO Khaneri, Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla alleging therein that in the intervening night of 24/25.07.2015, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his house and stolen away golden ornaments Chak, one pair of Kante & cash of Rs. 9000/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS Rampur.

7. During last 24 hours 272 vehicles challaned under MV Act, 09 Persons challan under smoking act & 02 challaned under Mining Act. Total challaned compounded= 136 & fine realized Rs. 49,400/-

   1. Tejinder Singh S/O Sh. Babu Ram R/O vill. Dhaali PO Baldeha age 19 years, arrested in case FIR No 241/15 U/S 457,380,411,34 IPC at PS Dhalli, bailed out today by trial court.

   2. Ramesh Kumar S/o Late Sh. Jiwanand R/o VIll. Majthai P.O. Badehri Tehsil & Distt. Shimla Age- 45 years, arrested  in case FIR No. 139/15 Dt. 09.06.2015 U/S 454, 380 IPC at PS West, bailed out today by trial court.

   3. Geeta Ram S/o Sh. Dhani Ram R/o Village Damrash, PO Parnu, PS Darlaghat, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan arrested in case FIR No. 165/15 dated 24.07.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND& PS Act at PS Sadar, is on police remand upto 26.07.2015.
